Has anyone found a solution to the un-editable music levels in Might and Magic 7? It's seriously effecting my gameplay which sucks.

For example: I'd like to fight the first Dragon but I can't hear when it's throwing fireballs at me so I always die.

Are you talking about the dragon in the cave on the starting Emerald Island?

If so don't bother trying to fight it. Let it kill off the rats while you scoop up the shield (or is it the bow) that you need to submit for the scavenger hunt. Once you have that and any other targets of opportunity then scram.

Dragons are tough even when you are at the end game and can fly.

It's not as tough as end game ones if you can dodge the fireballs. Which I would be able to do if I could hear it.

Actually, it's the bow you need for the scavenger hunt main quest. You need the shield (formerly of your deceased competitors) for a side quest. (There is another bow elsewhere on the island as well).
I don't have a solution for the sound (I don't have that problem, myself), but one way to monitor when the dragon attacks is to hire a Cartographer and take them in there with you. The constant wizard eye effect will show the incoming projectile on the minimap, as well as the dragon's position.
if its the music that's the issue you could probably just go into the files and delete the music files for silence outside of game sounds.

Oh good idea! Thank you so much!
