So I was really excited that GOG comes with all six maps of the original games, which (with the expection of M&M6) I only have budged versions of, but I must say that the quality of these maps ranges from okay (MM3-5) to bad (MM1) to very bad (MM2&MM6).

I know that the good people at GOG don't have the originals, but a 10s google search reveals much better images, that's why I hoped for professional scans here.

Does someone here know where I can find these maps in a good enough poster quality and/or even shopped so that the fold isn't as visible anymore?

After looking at your post I searched high-res scans of originals and found some on google. Already saved them to harddisk (there are also scans of original manual). google images search key: might & magic VI collection map -heroes mandate

Still not poster quality, but definitely better than some of them.

Maybe I should hire Laserschwert from the Telltale forums who made these splendid Lucas Arts posters from a bunch of scans.
