Maybe I can't find it but, I would much rather play some of these games in windowed mode because of the way my monitor is set up. Does anyone know how?

Any of the games that run in dosbox should work using ALT-ENTER. For 6 you can do F4, but you have to have your desktop set to 16bit colours for this to work.
Both of those solutions work, thanks :)
I played the original M&Ms (1-5) when they came out years ago. I was going to ask about running the M&Ms in windowed mode, but then found this thread.
Still have a question though...is DosBox absolutely *required* to play them if I buy through GOG? All I've bought so far is the original Fallout (which I use sFall on, so I can play it in a window).
Thank you.
Nope! It's not. I copied MM1 and MM2 onto floppies and onto an old 386 and they run fine.

Thank you.

The shortcuts the installer creates open DOSbox automatically, however the executable itself doesn't.

So it does use DosBox...is it included or would I need to go download it myself?
(great avatar, btw...Lord Xeen!)

Included, along with a .conf file specific to each game and shortcuts automatically configured to run it.
EDIT: Also, thanks was included with the Might and Magic package

Alright, I can't resist. Having played 1-5 as they came out, living through the evolution of the game, I'm gonna get it. :-)

Just note, your text will probably appear too fast in Might and Magic 1, there is a solution here.
