Hi all. Please excuse me if this has already been asked elsewhere, but I couldn't find it.

When I launch Might and Magic VI, there is an intro video. But on my Alienware laptop, the sound plays fine but the screen is grayed out. I'm running Windows 7.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? I've made sure I have the latest DirectX drivers too.

I have the same problem. The game starts fine, but quickly it becomes a grey screen, and I have to Alt-F4 out of the game.
The unofficial patch and the compatibility modes didn't solve anything.

Well, the game plays fine for me if I hit ESC during the intro video. But I'm trying to figure out why only the video is grayed out.
