Digging through my collection tonight I found Might and Magic VII *and* IX in great condition!
I even discovered a 3.5" floppy tucked away with the VII. I'll bet it's a collection of saved games from when I played it in 1999. Can you believe that?
I'm having trouble installing them, though. The installer doesn't want to launch. It gets to 99% and hangs. So maybe I'll buy the series from GOG anyway, if they've made it more compatible. :)
You sir / ma'am, are incredibly lucky. I LOVE VII and VIII, and really wish I owned them. It'll be a great day when they come out on GOG.
I still have my 2 disc collections 1-5 and millenium 4-7

I came.
Also LongTail: Take the MM9 discs, snap them in two and then throw them from a 10 storey building.
I also dug up my originals - and here is something amazing. MM6 installs and works perfectly on Windows 7 with no tweaking, but it would not work at all on XP. WOW.

QFT.
I got MM9 a few months ago for $1.25.. I want my $1.25 back plus damages! :)
I also got big boxed copies of: World of Xeen, MMVII and VIII. They are lovely. =D

That's amazing. :)
Good news for GOGers then..
I've got the Might and Magic Trilogy (3-5 plus Swords) and the Platinum collection (6-9). I actually got the Platinum box at half price, $20 instead of $40, because it was mismarked :)
Yep, cradling my CIB Millennium Edition here. I can't decide whether it's worth it to go for GOG's collection and get MM3 though.
I actually have the physical copy of this Limited Edition package (as well as a few others in the Interplay catalog), but damn if it isn't nice having these classics in digital form so I can download them wherever I might be staying.
I'm seriously thinking of getting the package just to have images of the maps to print out so I can annotate them.
Hi:Im a big might and magic fan,I had isle of terra long ago,but lost it.So now will play it for hours and hours, can you use codes for any of these games.
I still have all my origonals 1 - 9 complete box sets with everything. I know I am sick. I even have an unopened origonal MM2 in shrink wrap. ;-)

So, do you have any sort of particular organization model for that shelf, or...?
