I just got the game and it works like...well.. Magic! I'm having a super excellent time but I saw on a few reviews that the game crashes at Escaton's Palace. Has that been patched out or is there a workaround? I know I'm a long way away in the game but I do want to be prepared.

There is a workaround by switching off music before entering door, after that you can re-enable it.

This issue is still not fixed at 2017.
My version is setup_mm8_2.0.0.13.exe
And yes, the workaround works, which first turn off sound when enter the Escaton's Palace and then turn it back on.
