Well, I did and redid all 13 taverns in winning the arcomage game in MM7. However, the quest giver continues to tell me that I have not. Now, my tavern closed on me after my land was invaded by the mercenary guild. I am 99 percent certain that I did the game and won it way before that happened. Is there a known bug with this or is there a way to solve this issue?
On the off chance that you didn't win Arcomage in your own land, first kill every single invader in Harmondale, and then the shops will open again, including the inn.

Oh, that's a nice tidbit of info...thanks, will try.
Lol I finally found the stand alone version of Arcomage as I had a bit of fun playing it in M&M 9.

Sadly it's quite a bit more annoying than I thought. Luck just out weighs strategy to much in it :(
I always hated this quest, in both MM7 and 8, because in the span of the entire game, I always managed to miss at least one tavern that I was certain I'd played in.
When I play through these days I keep a list of every single one I've won in, on paper on my desk, so that I don't get as confused.

I couldn't wait to play MM8 so I started a game. I'm using a walkthrough for MMM7 (as I did in 6), so I am finally making a go of it on my own in 8. I diffininately will keep a list in 8 for acromage, thanks for the advice.

The first time you win in a tavern, you'll get a prize. It only happens the first time, so you can use save/restore to make sure you only win at each tavern once. Just save before going in, then beat the game, and see if you get anything. The "awards" tab keeps track of how many times you've won and lost, so when it gets to thirteen victories, you've beaten them all.

Unlike MM7, MM8, keeps track of which taverns you've beaten, also in the awards tab.

I never noticed that in the awards tab before! That will simplify things :D

wHERE IS IT IN THE AWARDS TAB IN MM7, i CAN'F FIND IT.
It should be at the top of the awards listing. # of deaths first, then bounties won, then arena battles, then arcomage wins. They are colored in blue.

Well I won in each and listed each as I went so I'm 100% certain.
Yet it tells me I haven't won. So I'm thinking there is a bug.

Also, while searching online for help on this somewhere (I forget where) said there are two inns in Bracada! Cant find this mythical 2nd one called Miners Only! Anyone heard of it?
The second inn is underground in the lower left of the map, I think. It's been years since I've played the game. The underground city opens up when you get the quest to choose a new judge.

Could they be taking about the Tavern(s) in Celeste and the Desert?
(Miner's Only is in Stone City. So one in the City and one in the Downs.)

Bracada Desert has two inns. One is in the overworld map named Bracada Desert. The other is located in the city of Celeste, which is unavailable until after you've made the Good/Evil choice. There is a teleporter in Bracada Desert that will teleport you to the (sky) city of Celeste.

Deyja also has two inns. One is in the Deyja overworld, the other is located in the city named The Pit (again, not reachable until after the Good/Evil choice). You'll have to make your way through The Hall of The Pit to reach the actual city.

The Barrow Downs has two inns. Again, one on the overworld map and one within Stone City.

Other map locations have one inn each:
Harmondale
Avlee
Erathia
Tularean Forest
Avlee
Evenmorn Islands
Mount Nighon

Make a save available to me, and I'll take a look.
Miner's Only is in the Barrow Downs above ground, specifically in the village near the Harmondale border.

I wouldn't say that there are two taverns in Bracada, so much as one in Bracada and one in Celeste. I'd say that the one in Celeste is probably easier to miss.

Every region that has an obelisk, except the Land of the Giants, also has a tavern. That includes the indoor regions Stone City, Celeste, and The Pit.
