Does the Master of Magic has a random map Generation? In other words, does the terrain looks different every time you play a new game? Thanks.

The answer is yes.

And it doesn't even matter which MOM you are referring to. (Really, on forums that cover multiple games, you should specify which game you refer to.)

Regarding the New MOM, can I set up a game and team up wiith one AI player, against the rest of the AI opponents? I have heard the diplomacy is broken and you can't have permanent alliances. Is that true? Thanks.

Sorry, I never tried that and I stopped playing the new one many versions ago.
