I played through the first MA 2 campaigns with no issues, but on "The Last Campaign" (Noble Rust), I keep getting a bug of some sort. I thought it had to do with units spawning on top of other units, but now I'm not sure. Here's the scenario:

I move my 2 sea transports full of LAVs and Tanks up to land on the shores of the Vernon province, This provokes a Guerilla uprising and the enemy typically puts down 4 Smallfoots. One of the Smallfoots will be directly on top of one of my units. At some point after this (sometimes on the same turn, sometimes a few turns later), there will be a pop-up message saying "Game appear to be broken! Please restore!" Clicking "okay" will take me back out to the main menu. Trying to avoid the invasion plan altogether results in the same message a few turns after when I normally would have invaded.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it happened again. MA is a great game, and Noble Rust is a nice map, but I'm getting kind of sick of this :). Does anyone know what's going on and/or how to fix it?

I've had the same issue recently but during the second campaign. I've noticed the bug tends to trigger when units are inside of sea transports, sometimes you can force the AI to take its turn nonetheless by clicking quickly on "skip" before they start moving units. I've no idea on how to fix it however and since all support seems to have droped and the game isn't popular I guess your best try is to restart the scenario until it works.

I personally gave up on the campaigns, Phantom Menace is superior in all means but I'd consider that this game in its current state is not fully working as intended.

I am not sure it is still relevant to you, but I had the same issue on Battle for Paradise, step 4 and managed to fix it by editing the scenario file and restart it. So I made a small program to fix those issues in game. It might not help in any case, but it helps in some. You can download it here: https://github.com/shaosss/MassiveAssaultScnFixer

Thank you, but I see no *.exe file there and am not smart enough to figure out exactly how github files work or how to compile them. Would you please make it a little easier for us less-tech-savoy to enjoy your work?

Thank you!
