Well, title says it all ... is this the CD-ROM version with the CD soundtrack?

Yep. And the soundtrack is conveniently OGG'fied ;) so you can easily listen to it outside the game.
On the side note, the original interview with R. Feist is also included on CD image.

I used to love the music so much that I'd play the CD in my car. :D
That's awesome that it's in this version - my two CD versions are getting dang old!

No. It's in the bak..gog file, which can be opened with program that reads CD image files (i.e. I use UltraISO).
