Kingsway got a big update on Steam on the 27th of November, but that update hasn't made it to GOG, and it's been almost two weeks. Are we going to get it sometime?

Game just received an update today.

Yeah, the ascended edition is finally here...I'm really happy to see it on GOG, but on another hand, there was litterally zero communication, so I lost hope eand I also bought it on steam like two weeks ago to play the ascended version, what a nonsence...

Still no update to the Humble version.

I emailed the publisher about this something like three months ago, and they said "we can't do anything about it, email the dev." So I emailed the dev, and he never responded.

I don't know whether this is an issue with the publisher passing the buck to the dev, or the dev passing the buck to the publisher, but it's really embarrassing.

Well, I just downloaded Kingsway. It says "version 1.1.3". According to the Steam update news, the Ascended Edition is"version 1.2.1".
What is your version of the "Ascended Edition"?

I just looked up the issue on Steam, and this is a post I found there (dated May 25th):

"Well, it's half-updated on GOG. If you have the game installed via Galaxy, it'll update to 1.2.1, but the offline backup installers are still on 1.1.3. Hopefully they'll get those offline installers updated as well."

Could someone confirm if this is true? If yes, I expect an explanation from GOG why Galaxy users get something non-Galaxy users don't, and the updated GOG download (for 1.2.1) immediately.
Until then, I won't spend any money with GOG.

The offline installer is now at version 1.2.1.
