Isn't there a sequel or similar games done by the same author? I think I remember there are but not sure at all.

The developer is indeed working on a sort-of-sequel called Six Ages :)

Six Ages is close to finalising. It should be launched before the end of the year.

Anyway, I hope the new game does well. KoDP is one of those cool little games that tried something different and very, very specific, and succeeded in what it set out to do. My hat's off to you. : )
