mk47at: I'm slightly worried because the bad kerning of the console font has not been fixed. Most monospace fonts fix the issue by centering the letters i, j and l (and maybe even by adding some part of a serif even if it is a sans serif font like Adobe's Source Code Pro). As it is now, it looks like the game is called “Ion Mai den” and it is “Ini ti a li zi ng” the sound with ”64 voi ces”, “2 channel s” and “16-bi t”.
Is this screenshot from the Update 4.1 version available here on GOG? Just wondering as it isn't showing the revision number in the lower right corner of your console window. Instead of something like this:

r 7318

It is showing:

r(?)

I've downloaded the GOG installer but I haven't installed it yet. Looking forward to trying this out when I get back home later tonight.

EDIT: The kerning in the console window drives me nuts too. :P

Yes, the screenshot is from the Linux version of 4.1 available on GOG. I've noticed the missing revision number as well. They must have build the binary from a source tree without the svn stuff.

Huh... Linux or Windows?

I tried with Windows last night and mine didn't do that. I'll have to try again with Linux tonight.

Edit: Whoops.. I just noticed that you did mention that it was the Linux distro. :P

And it hasn't been fixed in the full release.
