So I already bought ion fury on steam and been playing the 2.0 update for a week, at the same time I refunded ion fury on gog..... so far they have not responded to the refund request in a week.
This is getting ridiculous.

brazzjazz: This is getting ridiculous.
Voidpoint released their big 2.0 patch without even having prepared a build for other stores, then customers had to proactively ask about the situation on their Discord because of total radio silence from their side, we were told a build had been sent to GOG via an antiquated build release method which Voidpoint knew about since the much-delayed patch 1.1 release a year ago, except they also said they were trying to apply hotfixes to the GOG build before it's even released, then another GOG user popped up saying they were working with an unrelated 3DRealms team and trying to communicate the situation on behalf of Voidpoint because no one from Voidpoint can be bothered to communicate with us directly, saying the problem comes down to the lead dev at Voidpoint not using a Windows machine and apparently no one else at Voidpoint having access to a Windows PC to push the build, then someone else chimed in saying the issue comes down to their GOG contact ghosting them and their dog having eaten their homework.

Nothing ridiculous about that, carry on everybody...

Wanted to echo Randune's question from a few weeks ago. Looks like the Linux installer is still on version 1.1.

Any possibility of getting that version updated to 2.0 sometime soon?

Hello,
Can we expect a 2.0 update for linux version as well ? Or was it just a matter of Windows version bugs that got fixed ?
Thanks for your input
As of June 22 2022 the linux version of Ion Fury available on GOG is still version 1.1.

I also would really like to get a recent linux version, but i seriously doubt, that this will happen.
They did not update their website since aeons and we're also missing some news on Aftershock...

I guess it's DEAD and GONE.

P.S. I'd be happy, if they prove me wrong!

Maybe one of the Windows users could post a changelog for V2.0? Then we'd know for sure.
BTW: Any response from official side, please?
At least you are selling an outdated Linux-version for a full price of EUR 20.99!!

The Linux 2.0 version is actually there, but its hidden in the windows installer.
Either install it with wine and copy the required files over or extract it directly:

On Arch-based distros:
1. install innoextract
$ yay -S innoextract

2. decompress installer
$ innoextract --output-dir "ion_fury_extracted" "setup_ion_fury_2.0_(51180).exe"

3. make .bin file executable
$ cd ion_fury_extracted/
$ chmod +x fury_nodrm.bin

Thats it.
