I use Win10 64

I have exactly the same problem. Already contacted support. People in the steam forums complain as well.

Some say it works on Windows 7/8 but not on Windows 10.

I have windows 7 and get the exact same error.

To make it work, by @astrugar710 (at least it also worked for me)

Just delete the d3d9.dll file from the game directory and it works.

Exactly the same error, will try renaming d3d9.dll and see if it works

I had to rename nvd3d9wrap.dll and it works. Please note that you can have it in Program Files and Program Files (x86) directory for 64 bits systems.
