First - thank you for the game. I forgot about that title shortly after english translation was announced long time ago.
There is not much action RPGs or hack'n'slash games that have slow paced gameplay with no spectacular effects, combos and whatever that make mess on the screen. Years passed and Diablo - The Hell mod still keep this niche.

People said combat was terrible. If we talk about melee then yes, it was bad. I think Paladin have hard time because he need to boost more stats than other classes. Pumping Strength and Condition alone is not enough, you need to pump Dex to hit anything and Speed to reach enemies faster before they take you down. Thief? Pump Dexterity alone. Priest? Pump Intelligence and maybe Dexterity (I did not known Priest is nice ranged character that can be Journeyman in Ranged), that was my mistake with previous Priests to go melee with blunt weapons. I only used melee in later game after aquiring Inquisitor sword (that sweet 0.2 speed and 59 chance to hit).

I have no idea if there is a way to defeat final boss and 3rd fallen angel (succubi) without Salvation spell that keep you alive with 1hp and take mana pool instead. I had numerous cases of sudden deaths it's baffling. No attacks, no spells no info. no nothing just died. My companion and then me. I even did tests and gave both me and companion 999.999HP and they still died. Weird.

Game remind me Divine Divinity, one of the very few Diablo clones that were good. At least DivDiv had sprint button decade ago...good thing I had speedhacks, blessing soft for games with a lot of walking.

Before my final playthrough started I made few test runs with every class. Goal - clean Iron Mines and Orc Caves. Paladin was a nightmare indeed and I realized why people did not liked him. Thief on the other hand had relaxing trip to the depths.

There is something wrong with stamina consumption on my companions (melee ones), they lost stamina way faster than my paladin with the same stats. They got around 150 stamina and need potions after ~5? swings, while my Pal can swing 3times more before he chug down yellow bottle...

Despite few attempts and badly developed character my last one (who reached final area) was still far from perfect but good enough to beat the boss. I was blind and missed info that say Dark Mass is mass area effect spell. I focused on Pagan Magic and found that Rain of Fire need you to get closer to enemies. Whelp...
Alchemy sounds cool but you really don't need that one. There is enough Devil Roots and you will max out Inteligence somewhere at Level30?
Seals are still important because they don't have mandatory pause between casting and no spell failure happen...

BTW. I heard there was priest companion available in Act3, was the nameless one signed by Gregorius and anyone else?
PS. I really think there should be torched, maybe held by our companions in one hand. Wasting points in school of magic that have no other interesting spells is meh idea...

There are the answers for final exam for inquisitor. Wish I keep my old title (Judge Inquisitor) instead of prosecutor...

[i]Summumne Inquisitorem....licet?
