Hickory: G3 is down.
SHS is down.

Hunterwasser: Thank you for your quick reply. As I mentioned in the previous post, both websites have been timing out for the past 36 hours or so. Are there any alternative ways of getting the MODs listed in the beginning of this thread or should I simply wait for the sites to go back online? These are very active Modding communities, I suppose it shouldn't take long.

Thank you,
H.
Those two (especially G3) are always going down for one reason or another. I've known them to be down for best part of a week or more, but they usually come back eventually. There used to be an emergency mirror, but that has long since been taken down. You will have to wait... and hope, unfortunately.

And wait I shall, never to despair. Quitting makes the Lord of Battles cry, after all.
This answered my questions as well. Thanks Hickory!

I guess I'll have to put off playing this until Gibberlings is back up. Oh well, I'll just play Don't Starve in the meantime.
So there`s no site for download ID2 mods, am I wrong?

Well there's Pocketplane and the ad-ridden Sorcerer's Net, but you won't find many, or the best, mods there.

Update from G3's Facebook page:
"Hello all. G3 and SHS are currently experiencing some server downtime. We're aware of the issue and it's being worked on."
https://www.facebook.com/gibberlings3/?fref=nf

There's no ETA, nothing to do but wait.

H.
Thanks for the update and the link. It's appreciated! :)
I already had the widescreen mod, and I was tired of waiting to check the game out, so I just went ahead and installed that and started playing.

I know it's going to even better modded up but even so just the vanilla game
and the widescreen mod is tons of fun so far.

Great! Thanks for your help. I'll keep waiting :)
And they're back.
I just downloaded a few mods and installed. Everything went smooth as butter and I'm back to getting my butt kicked over and over ...er...playing the game.
Does anybody know the difference between the Durdel Anatha component in Aurils Bane and Unfinished Business?

simonbainton: Thanks guys! Do I need to download all the files on that page?

Kinda confused how to install it.

pcamagna: Those mirrors hold copies of all of the Chosen of Mystra mods, not just Auril's Bane. You'll want the AB_TotL.exe file since GOG's IWD includes Trials of the Luremaster.

And now that I look at it, this might be a more stable download link:

I know this has some time, but just tried to install Auril's Bane for Icewind Dale Complete in GOG, and I had a lot of trouble finding it. The Chosen of Mystra mirror suggested worked, although I can't seem to be able to install the mod. After downloading AB_TotL.exe, I extracted everything on it in the game folder but there should be something called "setup-ab.exe" I must run in order to install the mod, as indicated here: http://www.baldursgatemods.com/forums/index.php?topic=43.0. But there is no setup-ab.exe, nothing with that name.

Any help would be welcome, I was looking forward to play IWD classic with mods as this post suggested, but it seems I am unable to even install the first one of them :S

If that's all that's missing, then you're in luck--setup programs are just copies of the WeiDU executable itself. Download the latest WeiDU, v244, and find weidu.exe. Just copy and rename weidu.exe to setup-ab.exe and you should be good.
