dnuggs40: I thought that was the whole point of gog.com was making the old game compatible with today's hardware/software?
keviny01: Well, they only say "All games are XP and Vista compatible", which I guess implies they may not be Win7 compatible. DOS games have the greatest chance of running in Win7 because of the rock-solidness of DOSBox. But Windows games made in the late 90s to early 00s can be a pain to make work. Most of the times, all we can do is set compatibility mode for the executables, which doesn't always work. For instance, I can't get Starcraft (not from GOG) to work on Win7 without graphical glitches, but it works on XP.
This is not entirely true, if you read the "Compatible With" section when browsing games you clearly se Homm4 as compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 (32 & 64 bit).
I know that the game is runnable in Win7 but theres alot of stuttering graphics. But i still think gog should add those compatibility issues.
