Hi,

I began Hatoful Boyfriend, enjoyed the game, saved then loaded the game 3 or 4 times until now. When I load my game, I just have the background, no text, no menu available (see the image). It seems that loading issues are actual in this game (some forum topics in Steam) but as far as I know there is no solution yet.

Does someone have and fix the bug here?

I'm playing with Windows 8.1, Intel Pentium CPU B970, 2.30GHz, 64 bits.

Thanks. (u_u)

I would definitely recommend contacting support. Here is a direct link for Hatoful Boyfriend. Due to time zone differences, GOG Support might not get back to you right away, but they will certainly do their best to address your issue. If you are able to solve the issue, either on your own or with GOG's help, please share your solution here in case anyone else runs into the same issue.

Best of luck!
Looks like you managed to have even less display than me. Most of my loading problems were audio.

With how short each route is I just stopped using the save menu completely. Then again maybe they just look short because of how fast I read.

It's very disappointing.... :s I definitively don't want to play it without saving. I didn't test yet but I wonder if I save on 2 or 3 slots each time I save it will solve this problem. Maybe there is only one slot corrupted?

That's interesting...

I did encounter some freezing up, but they weren't due to loading. Instead, I'd be playing and then reach a certain new scene and then I'd just be stuck on the background, like you mentioned.

These instances were rare, as I played through the game 15 or so times, and only encountered that situation twice.

But I was running it on Win7, with an AMD APU.
