the_nightwulf: Yes, looks exactly like mine. Can you play in full screen? Mine is all but unplayable in FS. It looks fine windowed, but FS the display is all squeezed into a small vertical strip in the middle of the screen. Looks like an old cell phone video in portrait (as opposed to landscape).
Tried updating video card drivers (Intel HD 5000), tried every video setting in the TV itself, no luck. Other software works fine in FS. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
LiqMat: My brother-in-law is using an integrated HD 5000 as well and is having no problems at all with Grandia 2. He is running Windows 10 though. Did you use the GOG installer or do a direct download? He has heard people who used the downloader were having some issues. Try reinstalling I suppose. I can play in full screen just fine and I set the resolution at 1920x1080 in settings. Try ticking Keep Aspect Ratio or change to a different resolution under settings.
Neglected to mention in my original post but I did try several different resolutions and the aspect ratio setting, all with no change. Windows 7 here instead of 10. I did a direct download though, I'll uninstall and give their installer a shot.
Edit: uninstalled, reinstalled through GoG Galaxy or whatever it's called, no change. Thanks for the suggestion though.
