When the patch finally hits (assuming it does), I will play it. Why? Because I would actually like to play this game. I found the original release a little too hard, personally. But I would like to play it, it's why I bought it in the first place.

But what I won't be doing is giving the devs any more money.

I'd also like to echo Penguin's request for more info, and to see GOG actually challenge this behaviour. You say you're for the gamers, hence the DRM-free movement and extras, but please, this stuff NEEDS to be challenged.
