Spyder_Webb: Anyone having problems with the Steam plug in just saying it's 'offline' all the time?

I've recently updated Gog Galaxy to version 2.0.60 and now Steam won't integrate.

Astral_Traveller: I'm having the same problem as Spyder_Webb since today
Same problem here. I tried any solution found on internet and nothing worked.
Same here since last update !
For me, deleting the steam plugin folder in C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local\GOG.com\Galaxy\plugins\installed\ was not enough.

However, after removing ALL files named plugin-steam-*** from C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\logs, the plugin stopped crashing.

What I did in simple steps:
1. Quit GOG Galaxy (not reduced, completely quit)
2. Remove steam plugin folder in C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local\GOG.com\Galaxy\plugins\installed\
3. Remove all files named plugin-steam-*** from C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\logs
4 Restart GOG Galaxy > Parameters > Disconnect Steam integration > Connect Steam

Note : My Steam client was not running at that time (don't know if it helps or not).

Unfortunately, even after authenticating, the client says that I am not connected to Steam.

Same here. Doesn't solve the problem.
This is still a problem. The fixes here don't solve it for me.
For some reason I can't post the links so just follow the instructions in the image

It also works for me. Finally!!! I had been trying to solve this problem for 2 weeks.
When you guys say solved, do you mean as in works after closing GOG completely and starting it again?

No, you have to follow the procedure mentioned by SKWIDZ:

Close GOG, and make a backup of directory
C:\Users\<YOUR WINDOWS USERNAME>\AppData\Local\GOG.com\Galaxy\plugins\installed\steam_ca27391f-2675-49b1-92c0-896d43afa4f8

Download
https : // github . com / FriendsOfGalaxy / galaxy-integration-steam / files / 11104861 / backend_steam_network.zip

Open the zip file and extract
backend_steam_network . py

Into the directory
C:\Users\<YOUR WINDOWS USERNAME>\AppData\Local\GOG.com\Galaxy\plugins\installed\steam_ca27391f-2675-49b1-92c0-896d43afa4f8

and replace

Open GOG and try again to start and connect into steam integration, it worked for me!

then you restart GOG and it says offline again until you redo that. not a great solution unless you plan to do that repeatedly
