So, using GOG Galaxy, I tried to download a bunch of games at the same time and the download queue locked up. Can't restart them, can't clear them. Can't install them. can't play them. The games say "queued - waiting for other downloads to finish" when you go to their page and when you try to download them from the website directly, it just takes you back to the games page on Galaxy.

The clear button is blacked out.

Does anyone know how to manually clear out the downloading cache in windows? or another idea?

I just wasted half my Saturday trying to figure this out.... please help!

*bump* I am guessing that I just have to find the actual download cache files and delete them - anyone know where Galaxy puts them?

In my case Galaxy uses the target directory (the game folder set in settings + the games install folder name) for a game also as temporary directory.
Which seems differentfrom from what I am used to (but I cannot tell whether this was a change that was already there with the first release of Galaxy 2 I installed or that came inbetween Galaxy 2 releases).

Yep. I see there isn't an answer marked (nor did the other post help me). This just happened to me as well (although I went farther and got 930 items queued before it refused to queue anything more and everything locked. Also got a crash from Galaxy, too.

At least for 2.0, I saw that I was getting 1.5MB/s on a jobs.db file. Quit Galaxy, delete the file, reopen Galaxy, voila, the queue is empty. Hope this helps others who hit the same issue.

Edit: Full path should be C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage\jobs.db. I also noticed that the game installs were slowly coming back, but it wasn't locked up. I wiped all the DBs and am just having it reimport my library. Not ideal, but it should work (I think).

I went into the C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage\ directory and renamed the jobs.db to jobs.old. I was able to go into the game directory and hit the repair installation button. You might need to stop galaxy to do this.
