A girl played it at my guitar teachers funeral, it was the first time I heard it and the lyrics seemed like his last words. I cried my heart out when I heard it.

My Reply (Just hold on) by the Ataris, Played acoutic in a gig in TJs in Newport, Wales.

Saw them live a few times, on one occasion they told us about a fan of theirs who had written to them to thank them for cheering him up and helping him with the music they'd made over the years. She also wrote that he'd been suffering from a terminal illness (I forget exactly but i think it was something like the late stages of anorexia) for a long time and now she was ready to let go. The Ataris responded in the most honorable way they felt they could, they made this song...

A genuinely sombre moment I'm sure no one in that room will ever forget.
