tinyE: BULLSHIT BULLSHIT BULLSHIT!!!!
There is nothing "Amazing Stories" about any of these games!

There isn't one game on here about a guy (who looks like Jon Cryer) that figures out how to bring centerfolds to life using chemicals!

There isn't one game on here about a WW2 B52 gunner (in a B52 being piloted but a guy that looks like Kevin Costner) being saved by his drawings!

NOT ONE game on here about an alienated kid finds out that he is actually an alien only to realize that he's in love with an Earthling and not want to leave but be forced to only to then find out that the Earthling he is in love with is also an alien and the two of them are going to live on the same world together!

None of this! None! Zip! Nadda! It's false advertising I tell you! False Advertising!
I don't really know if you're joking by referring to the games indirectly because I haven't played any of the games on promotion so I don't know what there story is :/...
I doubt these are the most amazing stories on GOG, but okay, if you insist ... maybe I'll buy The Feeble Files. Although, I remember getting stuck in the retail version due to one horribly obscure chemics puzzle or something that even walkthroughs couldn't help me through. Not so keen on reliving that experience. :(

I was referring to a REALLY popular tv show in the States in the late 80's, early 90's. I didn't mean it as a troll or an insult and I was kind of hoping someone who was a fan would get the gag sooner than later. OOOOPS!

On a serious note this is a great sale because to be honest I wasn't aware of a lot of these and that Wax Works looks great for starters. :D

gandalf.nho: Almost all of them are adventures which aren't my cup of tea, but Ishar looks interesting, it's much difficult?
I never got to play any parts of Ishar, but I remember being impressed by graphics and mechanics (getting intoxicated and how that would impact your statistics and combat abilities, party members relations, etc.) in Ishar 3 in the times of Amiga computers... I don't know anything about the difficulty or puzzles, but should be easier than Eye of The Beholder 2.
Cool! I thought about buying Runaway 3 even today! Gog, why do you do a sale just after the end of the Summer Sale? And on the day I get my pay? And with the Steam Summer sale probably coming soon?
When I browse GOG adventure list, I feel sad. Almost everything's grayed out.
BTW, what The Cat Lady is doing outside this promo? : ))
Texxxxx :)
Nice promo, thanks GOG.
Not to be a pest but someone please tell me they remember that show? I can't be the only one who waited all week with baited breath for the next episode of "Amazing Stories".

I'm sorry, dude. I was born in 1986, so it's a bit before my time. If I did see it, I probably don't remember it.

You're not alone, haha. I remember the show, very much enjoyed it back in the day. My memory of it is a bit hazy by now though.

Is that the show with one of the episodes about a B17 bomber during WW2 and the bottom ball turret gunner barely makes it back home alive?

Yeah, I mentioned that episode in my OP. They lose their landing gear and at the last minute the gunner does a drawing of the plane with 'cartoon' wheels and POW they come out of the plane and save his life.

Oh good. My OP got low rated. I've said it once and I'll say it again, this forum is in serious need of an enema.
