Hunt for the golden idols in GOG.com screenshots!

EDIT: Hi! We no longer accept entries. Please give us some time to figure out what to do with the flood of correct answers!

Spelunky is all about exploring and treasure hunting. We know everyone loves looking for hidden treasures, so we thought we did something special to celebrate the game's launch. We propose a scavenger hunt, and you'll need to go deep into our game catalog to find what you're looking for. You may call it website spelunking! We've hidden 10 golden idols iconic to Spelunky on the screenshots for some of the indie games on GOG.com website. That's ten indie games, each with one golden idol hidden in one of the screenshots. Whoever finds all of them and submits the description of their exact locations to contest@gog.com, get's a chance to win one of the 10 amazing Spelunky Minis!

First come, first served. You'll need to act fast! The models will be selected at random and sent to the winners via mail (worldwide). Each figurine will come bundled with a bonus code for a $9.99 GOG.com game, that will be sent via e-mail, so that you get this feeling of accomplishment while you wait for the package ;-) Hint: you should pay special attention to the games of the following developers/publishers: Wadjet Eye Games, Amanita Design, Snowbird Games, and Basilisk Games. Good luck, and have fun!

triock: Why not. :p
Their site, their rules.:)
I guess I just read a way too much of "disclaimers" and "legal agreements" recently. ;)

Congrolios: Thanks a lot for giving out the 50% code for people that completed it but not fast enough. Found Mutant Mudds through this and decided to get it, when I otherwise may have never known about it. Seems like a great game and the discount is very nice. Thanks so much.
Mutant Mudds is a fantastic game, I hope you enjoy it!

Thanks for the discount code, GOG!
Thanks GOG team for the 50% off coupon, I can get la mulana now!
Really would have preferred for it to be a raffle, but I'm happy nonetheless.
avatar
ada99: Do we have a time limit for this 50% discount code?
avatar
RuMp: They expire August 9, 2014. At least mine says it does.
Correct. It will remain valid for a year. :-)

Of course it's allowed! If our games contain no DRM, why would we put restrictions on bonus codes? :-D

As for the question of raffle, apart for the reason that it would only get 10 out of 160 people something, it would also be unrealistic. Just imagine, there are 10 hidden treasures and 160 treasure hunters looking for them. Then, once they are found, the hunters gather in a camp and go like: OK, now let's play rock paper scissors to see who gets to keep the treasure. As if those who got to the loot first would have any reason to let go of it ;-)

Oh! When I meant I would have preferred a raffle, I meant have the raffle, and all those who don't win the figurines win the consolation 50% off.

I didn't mean I would have preferred the raffle, and for the losers to be losers! haha

Keeping in mind your metaphor, let's say those who won the raffle would be the people who followed the clues and got to the treasure first, while the people who lost the raffle would be those who got to the treasure room late and picked up and the goodies the previous adventurers couldn't carry. ; )

Agh nevermind, then it becomes a first come first serve thing... Just ignore me.. lol

Can you give a master-class for those blokes in Nival who sent out coupons which expired before they could be used?:)

Well, HumbleBundle also tries to stress "no DRM" policy, but they always say something about "for your own use". ;)
Besides, it's never hurts to ask... Well, actually it's often does, especially when artistic integrity involved, but let's skip those unpleasant details...:D

Well, we can always sing Kumbaya or something similarly bonding... Any ideas?') I just humming Czy ten Pan in Pani.)

Have mercy!
Also, you sound strangely Polish for a Russian :)
Oh, thanks GOG! Buuuuut, just considering that I muttered something about payment options again, if anyone wants my discount code, send a PM (min 20 rep).

You much closer to truth than you may think.:) There is no way to chose proper "ancestry" for me, so I chose "successor state" for my avatar instead. I guess you already know who is that.:)
I redeemed my code, chose la mulana, and it brought me to the checkout page. I clicked on "save for later" and now I don't get the discount! :(

Was looking forward to grabbing La Mulana, guess I'll have to wait a bit longer.
Thanks, GOG, for the discount code. Highly appreciated :-D

Well, Humble Bundle doesn't issue discount codes, now do they?

Yeah, but they do issue "free Steam keys", don't they?;)
Woohoo,...thanks GOG for the discount code!
That was a nice surprise. :o)

I just prefer her older songs... but the video for this one is pretty neat.
