Well 3 copies of ID2 downloaded, all 3 corrupted, lets try that Corruption Cleaner fixer thing.
I also sent an email to GoG.
EDIT: Nope didn't work. Gonna try doing that Memory Scanner to see if my RAM is ok.

Agreed to the first part, but I use torrents all the time to replace broken discs/etc with same versions.

Kavasov just gave a suggestion. I agree the OP should find out the problem's root cause but this would allow them to play in the mean-time.

As was suggested earlier, this could be some kind of caching problem on your ISP's side. Have you tried rebooting/refreshing your network equipment? If you are on a system that provides dynamic IPs, getting a new one with an equipment reboot might be enough to get around any faulty caching going on.

Nope, he could easily contact support after torrenting the games. He wouldn't have wasted so much time figuring it out, and not being able to play when he wanted to.

I was going to try downloading a copy of a game that has worked in a the past as well, and see if that download becomes corrupt or not.

Actually I went and just for shits and giggles looked for a torrent of these games. Couldn't find one that I trusted >.>
So yea, stuck figuring this out.

What forum have you been hanging out on? You know as well as I do that if something as potentially disastrous as one or more of GOG's download source files becoming corrupted happened, the forums would be flooded with posts about it. Stop being contrary just for the sake of being contrary, you are not helping the OP solve his problem.
