I've been meaning to get it on Gamersgate, but ever since GOG announced its intention to add indie games, I've held off in hopes that I could someday get it here. Anyway, from what I've observed, people who have tried it had a favourable response towards the game.

Yeah it's good, combat is basically MM2, the combat encounters are fun, creating your party is also enjoyable, also it does "fantasy" nicely, in a comical sort of way. Nothing more to say really.

I've only played the old version which is graphically very simple, the new "Gold" version upgrades everything in the game graphically, heaps of CG still images for encounters, new enemies, redrawn dungeons, more of everything as I understand (I haven't even installed it yet.

Also, I created a thread about my butthurt that this game isn't on GOG when heaps of shitty indie games are (I'll name names if I must).

Also, buy this game fags! Charles is an absolutely awesome French bro who taught himself to program part-time to make the game.

Ah what the hell. Come next month after deducting my Kickstarter expenses, I'll probably get it straight from his website. Would also be nice to see Jay's Frayed Knights here, come to think of it. True bros, they are.

Judging from those screenshots I think they might have taken their "old-school" stance a little too far.

Yes I own Frayed Knights on desura, though I despise the cartoon art-style they used it's actually a decent game. Do you know this "Jay" guy or something? You should tell him to make another game using Torque and use a normal art-style.

You're saying this on the site that sells the Zork collection, Ultima 1-3, and Might & Magic 1-5, for 6$ each? Or do you just come here for the forums?

Crosmando:
Jay Barnson runs a blog that frequently covers indie games, especially RPGs. He's also a good friend of Charles.

You can check it out here. I have it in my live bookmarks.

I like how they use a nice, sharp picture for Greenlight, and an ugly, low-res picture for GOG. >_>

There's a difference between old graphics which were created in view of dire technical limitations, and "old" graphics which were created because they were cheaper.
