The Day of the Dragons!

Divinity: Dragon Commander is 40% off (that's only $23.99) until 3.59 AM GMT on 14 October 2013. The same discount applies to the Divinity: Dragon Commander - Imperial Edition pack, and the Divinity: Dragon Commander - Imperial Edition Upgrade DLC (the one to use if you already have the regular edition but would like to upgrade it to the "imperial" version). That's not all. We've barely started! We've engaged in dark acts of enscorcery and are offering them up to you! This is an actual thing: we took an actual dragon from the actual game of Dragon Commander and printed it in all three of the dimensions that you and I readily perceive. We have taken the purely digital and made it analog. There is no end to our power! The universe is ours to command--to control! BWAHAHAHA--aherm.

The Red Dragon

So we have a dragon, and we've had it painted by a talented local mini-painting artist in Warsaw. And while the dragon is lovely, we want to give it to you. Specifically, we want to give it to you with the help of our friends at Larian and at PC Gamer.

The Green Dragon

Entering is simple: like GOG.com, Larian, and PC Gamer on Facebook to get one chance to win for each like. If you already like those pages, just confirm your email and name in our fan raffle app and you'll get a chance to win for each page you've liked already. Go to the GOG.com Facebook profile and check out the top post to enter!

The contest, just as the promo, lasts until 3.59 AM GMT on Monday, 14 October 2013.

hedwards: I disagree, what you're saying is tantamount to having sex with a hooker. Sure it is technically closed minded not to, but the consequences of doing so can carry on for years after the fact. Even in countries where it's legal and regulated.

Bottom line is that FB regularly changes their privacy policies so that they can leak all your data to whomever it is that's willing to pay for it.

As long as people refuse to stand up to them, it's just going to get worse. GOG wouldn't be doing this if FB only had a few hundred thousand members. The fact is that even those defunct accounts that nobody uses regularly count towards pressuring companies to have FB accounts and use them in this fashion. Because clearly everybody has a FB account or could make one if they wanted to win.
Dude, I was only trying to funny by quoting an old saying that doesn't give very serious advice. Neither I or the saying are endorsing rampant hedonism.
I've never heard one good thing about Facebook. So it seemed appropriate to add then to the short list of things to never try.

Lillesort131: Isn't this discussion going off-topic? Yes, I also find it strange, that GOG uses FB, and I think too, that they shouldn't. But that's up to them, and as long as their games are DRM-free, I don't care.
Well, it's feedback for them. It may be somewhat off-topic, but that doesn't mean it's irrelevant.

Sorry, I'd then like to invoke Poe's Law.

How is this off-topic? The topic is the raffle, and that is what everyone here is talking about. What else is there to talk about?

X: Hey, The Dragon Commander is 40% off!
Y: Indeed, it is!
Z: It sure is!

Riveting discussion and priceless feedback for GOG that would be.

Fair enough. I do my best to make sure that what I say online can't be misunderstood. But I guess I had to slip up sooner or later.
While I have no particular interest in this game and therefore the dragon (even though it looks GREAT), and would out of principle also never enter a 'like this' or 'share that' contest, I *would* like to say that it would be *amazing* if GOG would be able to offer printed/painted models for other games as well! I would buy the hell out of these if they'd be for sale(*)!

*) depending on the game, of course
It baffles me why the store page will still show the Imperial Edition is not owned even through I do have the regular + add-on thanks to the KS:OS screw up on codes... You would think they fixed that by now and updated our shelf graphics to show Imperial Edition. *wink*
I enjoyed the game and that $26.99 price is worth it if I didn't have it.
I like the red dragon myself.
Facebook is a bummer, because this is totally something I would have taken part in. I've gone this long without a Facebook account, so I'm pretty set in never getting one. It's a shady business.

It's pretty much inevitable.

The shelf doesn't say "Imperial Edition" despite buying the same, so I'm guessing that part is "working as intended". That the store doesn't show all three as bought for you though sounds weird (they do for me).

Yup.

I feel sorry for anyone interested in the dragon figurine (which looks awesome btw) and is left ineligible due to a disdain for facebook, twitter, etc.

Still, cool giveaway. Not sure why but the green dragon calls to me. Even so, I'm not entering so I hope it finds a good home. ^^
Love the green-painted dragon! :) Props to GOG for getting it printed in 3D and the awesome artist in Warsaw!

You guys have got to be the best company ever...DRM-free games, awesome deals AND giveaways?!
Definitely know how to keep your very loyal fans happy <3

Now if you were in England you would have to to be more PC (politically correct) and instead of hooker say perhaps "Sex Entertainment Professional" or I'm sure they have a more innocuous word for it.

I think they should be more respected than politicians. Politicians also lie on the job and screw the population, prostitutes at least give you something for what you payed for :)

Yep you'll see the DLC (that makes it the Imperial Edition) listed with contents of the game, the game title won't reflect it otherwise.

Love to win one of those Dragons. Entered. Sadly i reckon the odds are someone who doesn't visit GOG nor a regular GOG customer nor Goggite will win these :(
