G-Doc: 1. People who got their questions into the Q&A video. You'll be getting your free games within 24 hours. We're a bit understaffed right now (vacation), and I had no time to send you your prizes. Sorry!
I for one am not in a hurry, so please don't rush yourself.

Any chance I can enter with it, or do I have to put GOG.com in the end to be eligible?
I hope there's a GOG person here who can answer, because I did put a lot of work into that.
If you could only re-cut it, so it *does* follow the contest rules, sure! I think it's quite brilliant and I would love to have it among the entries. But as long as it doesn't follow the guidelines, it wouldn't be fair to other contestants.

Like not using exclusively what's in the package?

There is no rule that would limit you to just the contents of the package.
My attempt of making a fan trailer. I used two materials that do not come with DIY trailer package. One is a wallpaper taken from the official page of ROTT; and the other one is a sound file from the first ROTT game (you can hear the sound at the end of the trailer). Here is the link:

A GOG.com Fan Trailer by Accatone
I was bored and figured I'd have a play with Blender's VSE.

F4LL0UT: Also, are we only allowed to use the resources provided in the package or can we also use resources that were say released to the public domain or we create ourselves?

G-Doc: As for the trailer--sky is the limit! As long as you don't use anything that would make your video blocked by YouTube, there's absolutely nothing you can't do within your minute of screentime. :-D

So since this is all just fanmade and not technically commercial promo material, I could throw in a clip of an unaffiliated game?

Wait, nevermind. The video file instantly crashes Vegas anytime I try to import it.
Ahoy there!

I finished my entry, you can watch it here:

Hope you enjoy it, please comment on how you like it, I'd appreciate any input.

Thanks,
renthicya

P.S.: I'm so glad I could make this on my oldest computer, thank god it could take the rendering.
