Turjake: The original was one of my favourite games on Amiga! It's not a real flight simulator, but a very enjoyable game.

I wonder how much they've changed the original's gameplay...
Very faithful to the original. The strafings just as tricky. The bombing runs are almost identical. The flight 3D engine has been really updated and improved. You now have Multiple camera views and the controls are a lot smoother. And your guns still feckin jam just as easliy.

Not a matter of if I'll buy it, only when. Another great release, a week to remember indeed.

Ah, I bought it already from Cinemaware directly.

If I had known for sure, it will be released here, I had waited a little longer.

Will put it on my wishlist and wait for a decent sale, to put it on my GOG-shelf, too.
OH MY, I LOVED THIS GAME ON MY OLD AMIGA 500!!! remastered? Wishlisted now! (I bought too many things in the last days, LOL)
Too bad it doesn't include the emulated classic Amiga version, too :(!

Still, truely a gem regardless if it is remastered or not. Thanks gog!
Instabuy for me, the original one was really great, one of the most fun games of that time on Amiga, i hope this remastered version will play smooth as engine.
Im happy to see this interest in Cinemaware titles lately.
Out of curiosity, are these "red targetting circles", that appear in the video (during strafing and flight) optional ?

They were absent from the amiga version, and that was a good thing.

yyahoo: By the way, with this release promo (at least in the US), it's cheaper to buy the game here than it was to support the Kickstarter. The only thing the Kickstarter backers got that GOG customers don't (at least, yet) is an emulated copy of the original, which, still hasn't been released to backers yet anyway.
Well, backers also have access to soundtracks, both original and remake, which seem to be missing from GOG release.

But otherwise the way Cinemaware has handled releasing the game to backers has been disappointing, to say the least, and angered many backers.

I'm happy to have helped this game, but as far as Cinemaware's possible upcoming Kickstarters are concerned, the critical point for me is whether they can give us GOG keys (like all the other game projects) or not.

There don't appear to be a whole lot of backers on GOG, but I'll go ahead and post this for those whom it may affect.

I emailed Cinemaware and asked them about whether backers would get keys to their choice of digital distributor (whether GOG or Steam) and this was their response:

"We are working on getting keys from either provider, but it is something we cannot guarantee we will get.
As soon as we do and are able to, we will inform and grant these keys to backers, OK?"

Oh, I missed the soundtracks. Well, that's something, even if I'm not a big soundtrack guy...

That said, if you'll note above, I contacted Cinemaware and they are working on getting GOG keys. So, hopefully soon, this will be remedied.

Always wondered how this works, would Cinemaware have to buy these keys from GOG or would GOG be expected to give them away? Seems a bad deal for someone.

I always assumed that the distributor (GOG or in other cases, Steam) provided the keys to the property owner without charge.

Thanks, guess that makes sense since GOG wouldn't have to pay for those copies. Seems the big thanks for this should go to GOG though.

yeah I know Steam gives keys to devs/publishers free of charge so I would take it that GOG would do likewise since it helps generate traffic and business to the site
