Superfrog is back to save the day!

Superfrog HD, a modern reworking of the 1993 2D platformer with tweaked gameplay, updated level design, and enhanced cartoonish graphics, is available 60% off on GOG.com. That's only $3.99 for the first 72 hours!

You know how the story goes: an unlucky prince is magically turned into a frog by a nasty witch. But here is a twist! Thanks to a mystery potion the frog gets super powers. To rescue his kidnapped princess the amphibious superhero will jump around 24 finely crafted levels, across 6 themed worlds. He'll even defeat challenging bosses along the way. If you thought the amphibian champion might be a bit out of shape after 20 years in retirement--think again! Superfrog HD stays true to the original while updating the mechanics and adding in modern polish to the games visuals.

Help Superfrog save the day in this modern throwback to one of the best classic platformers of the 90s, get Superfrog HD, for only $3.99 on GOG.com, until Sunday, September 14, at 9:59AM GMT.

F4LL0UT: Good catch! :D
Reminds me of the moment in the first Witcher where Geralt explains to some NPC that salamanders are amphibians, not reptiles. Let's pretend that this was an homage to that scene. ^^
Actually I was thinking more about:
I can do anything! I can do birds, amphibians, famous poets - go ahead, name one!
Ugh! Will you hurry up and release Crimzon Clover, already?

Damn, we really need Grim Fandango here. I never played it, had to google where this line is from.

Seen it in Empik not so long ago for less than 30 PLN :)

God dammit! How is that even possible?! How can it be that many "lost classics" that nobody can bring back for digital distribution keep popping up at retail stores?!

That's why we must go hunting as often as possible :)
I am confused why the owners of the original SuperFrog have to pay to get the newer one? In the past it has always been a free upgrade? Judas can you help us out here by helping us understand the reasoning behind have to pay for the new version if one already owns the original? Thanks.

Yeah, I also feel a bit weird about this. When I learned about Superfrog HD soon after buying the DOS version here I was sure that we'd get it as a free update.
If i buy this here
can i add the game to steam to achieve the achievments there?

Ty!
