Erich_Zann: None of that on Atari ST, except if you count upgrading your players between matches with the money won/collected during the bloodbath. Possibly buying "star players" in league mode as well, but I could be misremembering ; I mainly played this two-player. Not what I would call "management sim" anyhow, Football Manager this is not.
I had meant partly. Yeah player transactions (management lite) etc. Been longtime since i played the original :)

The graphics looks unbelievably crappy compared to the stylish original.

And, omg, I am sooooo tired of that Ice Cream thing.

It cannot be put into words how much I love the Amiga version of Speedball 2.
Also it cannot be put into words how much it hurts me to see the whole amazing style of the original ruined.

Edit: Correction - the sound seems to be unaltered according to Totalbiscuit's video (although I'm not sure the original title music is still there). Well, that's at least something.

I have a feeling the developers just missed many sales by not including the unaltered original look, sound and gameplay, at least as an option.

Why is this called an Amiga game? I played it on our first family computer - an Atari ST 520. ;-)

A very fun game but pls don´t review games based on the old ones, if you review the game it should be based on the version that you review since it´s very common remakes of old games are not as good as the originals (and sometimes the opposite is true). The score for this remake does´t seem to be fair as it looks to be based on the original and only by looking at a video of this version I can see it´s not as good as the one that was on Amiga/Atari.

Many people saying bad things in rewiews of this game but I don't understand what's wrong with it :S It's really awesome game and really HD remake :S Where is the problem ?

Do you playing the game ? :D It seems only weird resolutions have problems like 1366X768 . Still waiting :/ Steam players saying problem is fixed .
