How about a nice cup of The Coffee?

Deadly Premonition: Director's Cut a bizarre investigative horror action-adventure game, much unlike any other in the history of gaming, is available 10% off on GOG.com. That's only $22.49 for the next 3 days.

Deadly Premonition: Director's Cut includes features over and above the original game, like a surprising new scenario from the game’s director, Hidetaka ‘Swery’ Suehiro, enhanced HD graphics with new textures, a reworked control system allowing for an even better combat experience, as well as numerous other bits of add-on content, including previously unreleased material. Part suspense-filled horror, part action-adventure game, Deadly Premonition offers an open-world experience packed with locals to meet and places to discover, as well as numerous side quests and mini-games that will help you solve the murders and uncover Greenvale’s deepest, darkest secrets. If you enjoy spooky small-town atmosphere, weird characters on the edge of sanity, and mystifying narrative not unlike David Lynch's cult-classic Twin Peaks, this is a game was made especially to make your Halloween.

Have you ever seen a special federal agent having deep and meaningful conversations with his cup of coffee? No? Did you ever even considered talking to your arabica, while solving a murder mystery? Give it a shot, get Deadly Premonition: Director's Cut, for only $22.49, on GOG.com. The special 10% release discount offer lasts until Friday, November 1, at 4:59PM GMT.
An eventual buy for me since my friend recommended it and I usually enjoy his picks, though some are really off-the-wall. Need a better rig first.
Wait, so how is this game playing with just keyboard/mouse?
Did you hear that Zack? We're on GOG.com right now. Isn't DRM free gaming great?

Agent Francis York Morgan should be one of GOG's new mascots with a line like that XD
Does this include all the DLC like costumes, cars etc?
I really wish you guys had marked this on the main page as a coming soon, it's been marked for preorder on steam for a month so i bought it there for the discount. Had I known it was going to be available on GOG I would have of course waited.

Will probably buy the game here eventually as I LOOOOOVE it so much and I wanna support the devs as much as possible (have it on 360/PS3 already), but i'll definitely be waiting for a massive markdown before I do.
A survival horror adventure from Suehiro Hidetaka? I'm broke right now, unfortunately, but this is wishlisted! I will buy this as soon as I have enough. I will definitely buy this one! This one's a must buy! There have been many great releases, but this is one of the releases I've been praying to GOG for!
Thanks GOG!

GOG, there are many comments like this one in the Deadly Premonition threads. So as you can see, you should have a Coming soon section, filled with the newer releases that are confirmed, even if you can't take preorders or set a final release date for them yet.
Well, this is just great, two definitivly missing games released on only one day and an epic promo on top of that:
Give me Deus Ex: Human Revolution as well as Dark Souls and youcan made 100$ on only one day ;)

Mivas: Respect, Durante. I wish console devs would have hired him/her for PC testing.
Why? That would cost money. No need to do proper quality-testing when the community is willing to do the polishing for free...

This. A "coming soon" in any form for first-time releases would be a big help.

Kunovski: alright, hello kitties then... just enough with the horrors! :D

VanishedOne: Well, now that Rising Star Games are a GOG publisher, maybe we'll see Angel Cat Sugar...

http://www.risingstargames.com/game.aspx?sku=angel-cat-sugar-pc
wow, that looks... really dull :D but anything is better than 10475th horror game

it seems to me that the developers are unable to provide any other emotion with their games but fear - inducing fear is the easiest way to make the player affected emotionally

are you unable to provide a heart-warming story? or make somebody laugh? just scare them, that always works :( (but that's just me probably)

EDIT: I'm not saying these games are not good or lack in stories or whatever, I didn't play them (I'm a scaredy cat), but the fact that we have a horror appearing here almost every week makes me think :) but I guess this "trend" won't last long, even now I hear many people that for example games like Amnesia aren't scary enough, so when majority of people will get callous to fear the devs will have to think of a new way to introduce emotion

Crosmando: Wait, so how is this game playing with just keyboard/mouse?
I was thinking about the same, still to be downloaded and installed. If it plays fine with keyboard + mouse, fine, I won't care of any gamepad controller problems (if any).

By the way, people seem surprised it has issues with XBox360 controller "because the game originally came for XBox360", but wasn't this Director's Cut based on the PS3 version? So maybe it is based on the PS3 controller scheme, not XBox360.

I'll try to find time to install the game today, to see what the fuss is about and how bad it is... About 720p, while I don't agree taking out options from games, I guess I will be fine playing it even in 720p. 1080p is preferable of course, and nice if there is now a third-party fix for that.
well was looking forward too this as i love the game but reading up on all the massive problems it has i will wait till its patched or goes on sale. not bothered about it being in 720p its the rest of the stuff that bothers me. very lazy port.

Incompetence or laziness (or both), take your pick.
