Paint it red!

Carmageddon 2: Carpocalypse Now, the high-speed internal organ liberation simulator full of madness and mayhem, is available on GOG.com for only $9.99.

In Carmageddon 2: Carpocalypse Now you've got everything laid out for you right there, in the game's title. It's the armageddon--all hell breaks loose, the world is consumed by madness, fire, and violence. It's the apocalypse--everything that was reassuring about the world is collapsing around you, and no one has anything left to lose. All this is happening right NOW, and it involves cars. See? Just looking at the title you instantly understand what the game is all about. What you might not yet know, is that the sequel to the bloodiest racing game ever created, is even more outrageously fun! With 30 grueling tracks, 10 manic mission levels, and 10 stunning new environments, crazy physics engine, lots of special features drastically changing the rules on the go, and a thundering heavy metal soundtrack from Iron Maiden and Sentience, this infamous title gives you every possible reason to unleash your road rage with an outburst of maniacal laughter.

Don't be afraid of gaming-world chaos, mayhem, violence, and excessive speed.
Embrace them all in Carmageddon 2: Carpocalypse Now, for only $9.99 on GOG.com!

To celebrate the launch, GOG.com is also hosting a giveaway of 50,000 copies of the prequel to this game--the original Carmageddon Max Pack--on social media site Reddit.com, where the developers of the Carmageddon franchise will be answering questions about Carmageddon, their recent successful Kickstarter, the new game in the series and pretty much anything else. Visit Reddit here to take part in the giveaway or ask Stainless anything, starting now!

JudasIscariot: The songs are there in the game but not as a separate download because, come on, it's Iron Maiden. All of their music is still being sold :P

jamyskis: You can nab the OGGs out of the directory though, which is as good as really.
I know naught about that >.>

tinyE: I have three copies of this on disc but I'm buying it here just to avoid all the patching I need for those. Am I to assume this is running good with GOG's 'tweek' staff? Am I also to assume that this doesn't have the Maiden soundtrack?

I'm a Maiden FREAK! Don't tell me about their records still being sold! I own two copies of each one (one for the cd player and one in a vault as a backup in case my cd player gets stolen or blown up). I want "Where Eagles Dare" played at my funeral!

oh and Thank You Judas. :D

Good to know, but what about LIcurg's whereabouts?

*imagines LIcurg silently watching the forums and laughing at us*

Hehe me too! In fact, why do you think I wore a Maiden shirt in the first GOG.com Carmageddon video? :D
Ah, one of the very few games where you can literally split your car in half. Great addition.
Warning: The Air Traffic Controller mission is fucking impossible!

So this isn't the Wagner Edition, that's a bummer, Carpocalypse Now should be played with Ride Of The Valkyries on the background. =(
Pleased to see this out, though it will need to wait for a bit.

Surprised Stainless still haven't sent out a Kickstarter update informing their backers that Carma 2 is now on sale.

Well, I am sure you can make it the Wagner Edition with Ride of The Valkyries being an ogg that's renamed :)

The question is, will this be the end of the 5th b-day celebration? Any more big releases this week?
Will this eventually be price-bundled with the first game like other series on GOG?
Great release :D
