Amazing, EA, I expected as much from the likes of you. You take a lore critical character, and shove him out as some crappy Day-One DLC. I can't believe Bioware, one of the greatest RPG developers of all time sucked up to you and your stupid Origin client.

I'm not going to resort to pirating, because when the game is butchered into pieces that they sell to rake in the extra cash the game is not even worth pirating. EA ruined another series, add it to the graveyard along with Command & Conquer and Ultima.

Yep, FML, was so looking forward to this too. ~sigh~

Why did EA have to fuck everything up and turn Bioware into such a piece of shit developer?

Just look how they turned Westwood from a good old muscle car into a banana shit sundae. lol, just makes me so mad, sorry guys.
Well I figure it's one of two things:

1) It's an important piece of the story (seeing as how they were thought to have been extinct I thought) that they decided to cut off knowing that people would WANT to have this character and pay $10 to get it.

2)It was a quick and poorly implemented idea that didn't go far or get finished before release so they threw it out as day 1 DLC. If that's the case though, it's still not worth $10.

In the end I feel it doesn't matter. Sure a few people will complain, and perhaps rightfully so. But the majority of people will keep their pre-orders and/or purchase this DLC day one, thus showing EA that people will go along with these practices.

It has to number 1 because the character is a Prothean, which has been a huge part of the series since day 1.

Can we be done with this stupid, simplistic nonsense? Bioware CHOSE to sell to EA. The 2 heads of Bioware have seats on the corporate executive committee, giving them more pull than any other developer under the EA label. They're also in charge of the entire RPG division. Chances are, Bioware isn't being FORCED to do anything.

But no, we'll keep ignoring all that in favor of these nonsense "When it's good, all credit to Bioware...when we don't like it, all blame to EA." utterances.
Well, what Crassmaster said. EA may have enabled them to go this route, but I'm fairly sure that they chose the course themselves.
My internet is too slow to want to click the news link... I am assuming the DLC comes free with the collectors and costs $10 otherwise?

When I finally play this game in the summer (I hope) I'm probably going to have to consult a chart to make sure I get all the content.

In this case, the content seems to be 1 potential teammate. So it might not turn out to be all that important, anyway.

Yes, the CE or the Digital Deluxe one and it does seem to be $10.

1 potential teammate that has a lot to do with something of the storyline.

I'd pay for that, but hell if I'm paying ten bucks.

I already made a thread about general issues with ME3, it's almost at 10 pages now

http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/no_hope_left_for_mass_effect_3/page1

My Opening post is downrated by the way, let that speak for itself

It's a bit sad how some people cannot realistically and rationally look at the situation and what is going on, it's even more sad of what has become of Bioware, but that's a story for another thread

No no no... it's a prothean. Zaeed Masani in ME2 was missable, he was just some hardened marine. But a prothean? Thats the series' biggest mystery. They've been giving hints and tiny details of their past throughout the series, you would think that something as CRAZY as a prothean party member would be a monstrous plot element to Mass Effect 3 and it's story.

Also, Shale was the best Dragon Age 1 character.
