Free stuff this way! A considerable amount of added value has just hit Betrayal at Krondor, which from now on will be known as the Betrayal at Krondor pack and will include Betrayal in Antara, at no extra cost.

Betrayal in Antara is a role-playing game that uses an updated version of Krondor's engine. It isn't a sequel, however, as its story couldn't be set in Raymond E. Feist’s world of Midkemia, but in a complex, well-designed world of Ramar, created just for this game. The interface and mechanics, the familiar combat system in particular, are pretty much the same, which means they're very good. Finally, there are many memorable characters in this game, the story is complicated, in a good way, and keeps getting better as you go along. Overall, a solid, oldschool RPG that is definitely worth a try. Also, it's added to the Betrayal at Krondor for free!
Great, but I hope it is not the only release this week.
Nice one.

I was afraid to see another infinity game. The best of BG is already there, and I already own all infinity games (except PS:T) two times - in classic and DRM-less version.

So again, nice one.

Anestis: Betrayal at Antara is not a sequel to Betrayal at Krondor. The gaming company used the same engine to create their own game and try to cash in on the success of RtK.
Wasn't really that way, Antara is older than Return, so there's no cash in. Sierra lost the rights to do a proper sequel to BaK so they did Antara as spiritual sequel, then they took the rights back and Return was made, simply as that.

The three Age of Wonders games are now on Steam, both as single games and on a interesting bundle. So I suppose that both AoW II and Shadow Magic are going to appear on GoG very soon ;)

blackied: This may all be well and good, but I'm personally still waiting for Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic. By all rights it should have been around a month ago, but then we had the 'relaunch', then all the hasbro stuff, none of which has been on my list. AoW just seems to have been forgotten about, and meanwhile Impulse has had the entire trilogy the whole time, and people are getting tired of waiting.
Come on guys....

as I said, all the three AoW games are now on steam, so expect a release soon

RtK was a typo. I meant BaK.
I thought I had BaK already, but I bought the sequel and didn't get the first one. I think I'll be spending a bit of money this weekend! :O
Yo dawg, we heard you like GOGs, so we put a GOG in yo GOG so you can GOG while you GOG.
The AoW trilogy is on sale, in various places, for less than $20 USD. I'm holding out for the GOG.com versions, however....

Nice one, it's really cool of GOG to pack it with Betrayal at Krondor!

Regarding the Age of Wonders games...
I'm positively starting to feel that the GOG staff has accepted their being "late to the party", so they shifted priorities and offer games you can only buy here, and then later complete the AoW collection.
Whether that's good or bad is for everyone to decide.

I was going to buy Shadow Magic from GOG, but now I'm *very* tempted to get it from Gamersgate.

GOG said that it wanted to be the #1 alternative to Steam - well, with Age of Wonders, they lost a golden opportunity, since it's available on Steam already, and not yet available here. :-(
I already have BAK, to get BiA do I have to re-dowload the whole pack?

Since they are installed with one file, yes.
