With every Divinity: Dragon Commander pre-order--strategy masterpiece Master of Magic for free!

[url=http://www.gog.com/gamecard/divinity_dragon_commander]Divinity: Dragon Commander, is the upcoming innovative fantasy RTS, available for pre-order on GOG.com. Larian Studios, the developer of that title, regretfully informs, that the game's release will be delayed. Originally scheduled for July the 2nd 2013, it is now expected to arrive early in August. Our friends at Larian decided to take an extra month to ensure this ambitious and complex title meets the high standards you grew to expect from their games.

GOG.com and Larian Studios are sorry that you won't get the game in time you expected. We would like to make up for the delay and sweeten the deal a bit. To satisfy your thirst for multi-layered strategic gameplay, we would like to offer you a complimentary copy of Master of Magic one of the beloved strategy classics, with every pre-order. Whether you already pre-ordered or will do so in the future, you'll receive an e-mail from us, containing a giftable Master of Magic code that you can redeem yourself or pass on to a friend.

We hope that Master of Magic, with its legendary robust and complex gameplay, helps you through to August, when we expect Larian's RTS epic to land safely on your shelf. If you haven't yet pre-ordered Divinity: Dragon Commander on GOG.com you just got another reason to do so!

Once again, sorry for any inconvenience this delay might have caused you.
They should have added a GOG preorder to the other divinity game kickstarter layer giving you a GOG copy of the game.

Oh well, who cares. I own MoM, and I won't be playing an strategy game on the road.
ZOMG!
Wait, this doesn't look like a game I would enjoy so it would be cheaper to just buy Master of Magic...
Still you know.. nice.

I was willing to forgive them, but they didn't even surf or serf me!
Wouldn't it have made better sense to bundle Divine Divinity with Dragon Commander? Same developer, same price as Master of Magic ($5.99), same franchise, even if a whole different game...

I already own Master of Magic anyway :(

They already bundled Divine Divinity with Divine Divinity 2 when the later came out on GOG.

You can only bundle a game with something else so many times before it becomes meaningless (because everybody owns it).

That is cool that you offer this bundle. It is always nice to see extras added in. I do wonder though how many people still don't own MoM here on GOG? :) Maybe 2? :P

Make it 2! heh
I have heard nothing good about this game to date. Seemed to be lambasted, am I wrong here? It certainly looks pretty cool but much of the technical aspects to the game were underwhelming. Well, thats what I heard! Someone enlighten me, this delay only seems to reinforce the idea its already trouble.

I don't own any Divinity. Been waiting for a sale and missed the last one in February. I'm hoping for the summer sale.

I've always found it a wise course of action to withhold judgment until empirical evidence is at hand.

Anything said before either you or a critical mass of users have tried out the game are mere speculations and should be treated as such.
