They don't steal your info, but they do steal a lot of your free time by offering great games and great deals, and since you want to benefit from those deals, you give them more and more money voluntarily in the long run. It's kinda like a pyramid scheme of games. With the exception that there are no losers in it.

(no, they don't steal anything, the site is perfectly safe. Why do you even need to ask?)
Didn't read all the comments but as I'm also involved with a sales website that asks for creditcard info; I know the issue of trust very well.

In case of GOG, the answer is pretty easy :
If you are into games, you are likely to know other websites about games, maybe a load of game magazines. There are plenty of articles, comments and the lot about GOG. And I have yet to see one talking about a scam.
It's almost impossible to fake such a reputation GOG has built up over the years.

I would have become involved with GOG as a customer earlier, if they had more games back then and i had the same trouble getting games to work like with Windows 7 now. I gave up on Stonekeep (couldn't get game saves to work) and finally began buying classic games here.
I think the DRM'ed pizza is a normal pizza, but you are only allowed to eat it while the waiter is looking in case you want to slip some onions into your pocket for future use with your own pizza. Some pizzerias risk taking orders for pizza delivery, but then you have to stay on the phone all the time up until you eat it. They make sure you obey the rules by planting remote-controlled nanomachines inside the pizza - the nanomachines prevent the nutrients inside the pizza from being digestible. When you are on the phone, or when the waiter is looking, the pizza DRM team deactivates the nanomachines. You can also permanently deactivate nanomachines if you subscribe to pizzadrm.com for a monthly fee of 100 USD.

Yeah, that's the orwellian version of DRM'ed pizzas.

We should make a topic for more creative ideas on what's the difference between the drm'ed and drm-free pizza!

Man. If he waited 2 years for that answer, I suspect he's missed out on some good deals and even better times (Jack Keane 2 anyone? -- oh, and the time when it was discovered that scripts could be written on the forums! Good times! :D)

Just for any new customers, yes. This is a trustworth site. 100101 <hypnotize> and I am not a bot. </hypnotize>

Zyvo1: If I buy a game from here, will they steal my card info?
no, but they will make you want to buy more games and thus eventually take all your money legitimately.

No, they steal your vital organs and let corrupt medics transplant them. How else could judasiscariot have survived for twothousand years?
No, seriously: If you fear for your credit card, why don`t you use paysafecard? I`m using it whenever I buy something in the internet. Nowadays many onlineshops accept paysafe and if not, they are not worth my money!
