Is it weird that I use a laptop for most gaming? I originally got it for... you know use as a laptop. But I end up using my laptop for most gaming (probably because the only desktop computer in the house is so old it's running windows millennium edition). Is that weird?

Not at all. I only have a laptop so it's all I have for gaming.

These days laptops can be quite capable of running most games at moderate settings, and of course for older games on GOG they work just fine.

I wish I had one; then I wouldn't be tied to my desk.

Laptops and desktops are all PCs at the end.
I play some GoG games on my old laptop (model 2005).

Nothing weird since there's also gaming laptop.

Nope, I would say it's quite common. I started using notebook during studies because I often moved from one place to another and having PC was impractical. I returned back to PC two years ago because I stay at one place. It's great but I miss the possibility to code while laying on the couch :).

Not weird, if i was a rich man i would just get some Alienware Laptop for my games, you know those about 2k dollars and more.. Aww.. But i'm not rich. -_-'

I don't have a desktop since I move a lot, though my laptop can't run today's games (2008 model), it runs gog classics very well

I find my laptop handles a lot of my games. I tend to play older games anyway so I can't speak for Far Cry or The Witcher 2 but I do enjoy having some older cRPGs to play on the go. :)

In short: I don't think it's weird.

I only have a laptop, so of course I use it for everything ... so I don't think you're weird at all :)
