Amazing adventures of the DID girl!

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, a delightfully fresh and fulfilling blast from the glorious 2D platformer past, is available 66% off on GOG.com. That's only $4.99 for the next 24 hours!

One of them is a perky blonde, always cheerful and smiling. Looking at her you would imagine that she makes her grandma proud. The other one is a feisty redhead with an attitude and punky style. This one is the kind of girl your grandma warned you about. This good girl/bad girl duo call themselves the Giana Sisters. But here's the kicker. They are actually the same person. Imagine that. If this isn't the most prominent illustration of the dissociative identity disorder in video games, than I don't know what is. Giana's split personality makes her experience two very different worlds, each with its very distinctive mood. Even the music she hears in her head changes on a whim. Life must be difficult for a platform game character with that sort of condition. Would you kindly help Giana along her way through her twisted dreams?

In Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, the split personality of the main character makes up for some very interesting game mechanics. The ability to shift her from one reality to another lies under your fingertips, so you can switch the worlds you are traversing at any given moment. Some obstacles that seem overwhelming in one plane of existence, won't give Giana much trouble in the other. Combine that with some clever level design and beautiful storybook-like graphics and what you get is one of the cutest and smartest platformer games that graced our screens in quite some time.

Guide the heroine through the meanders of her split-personality in Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, for only $4.99, until Thursday, February 14, at 10:59AM GMT.
Giana Sisters: TD is great...but...System Shock!
Cool, that's a good price. I think I'll pick this up when I get home.

One of the best platformer games I've ever played! Seriously guys - grab it!
Why 66% off?

What a random number
Oh Yes! I've been waiting for this from the release. I even considered buying it during xmas sale, but once again fate favors the patient :P
Looks good but not for me i can play platforms for anything.
Looks interesting but is true is a very difficult game?

Save $10. Pretty straightforward.
On another day, i'll pick this up for sure. $5 for a quality game like this is dirt cheap. But i haven't finish my recently purchased La Mulana, which is also a puzzle-platformer. Time > money, maybe next time.
I must admit that I didn't really like the demo. It was too twitchy for my taste. Is the full game as twitchy as that? And by twitchy I mean jumping puzzles that require you to change direction and switch character in mid-air 3-4 times with perfect timing before landing.

It's not easy but manageable. I was able to beat it and my favorite genres are TBS and P&C so it couldn't be too difficult. Bosses are the most difficult part of the game but as I mentioned - it's beatable.
Great game for a great price!

Unfortunately I already own it twice. So would you please bring a Miasmata, Retro City Rampage or Pid promo next week? Pretty please???
