I mean I've played some crappy games in my day, but nothing on the level of this... I knew before I bought the game that it was going to be one of those "just alright" kind of games. In fact, I have been debating with myself for months about whether or not I should pick it up & in the mean time waiting for a half off sale so I could justify finally purchasing it. That time came just a few days ago when it was put on sale for $7.50 on the PS store.... & let me tell you that this piece of garbage isn't worth that. Challenge is one thing.... but making a game impossible to navigate while forcing you to constantly rely on consumables that few & far between to keep your ever depleting stamina bar from running out (in the dust filled areas... which shouldn't even exist) & losing an hour's worth of progress because the game is programmed so poorly that it doesn't give you a save/checkpoint after doing a side quest for a survivor is maddening.
The game is fucking terrible

I remember playing it and hating almost everything about it

The awful art direction
The boring and monotonous gameplay
The almost non-existent polish

Ubisoft should have just cancelled it
I like it.
Wow, I really liked it. I've certainly played MUCH worse.
Play the Pirate Kart and that will put what you think is the worst game into perspective :P

Play Big Rigs and then tell me that is not the worst game ever made.
I still insist and persist that to this day, Daikatana is the worst game ever to be made. I rather smear... No wait. /cough Daikatana is the worst game ever to be made!
Thanks for the heads up, i was thinking of getting it.

Big Rigs still has entertainment value, though. The "infinite speed in reverse" bug and the ability to drive straight over mountaintops are actually pretty awesome. It's totally devoid of merit and if it was programmed properly it probably WOULD be the worst game ever made, but in this case it's actually (marginally) enjoyable because of its terribleness and ineptitude.

Stuff like Superman 64 or the Atari E.T. aren't enjoyable even through bug exploitation.
you've never played shadowman.

I should try that someday, since I went the trouble of downloading them... Anyway, never look inside the mouth of a gift horse, or if you do, hold your breath.

Me too, cool concepts, so-so execution. Even Yahtzee didn't bitch about it as much as the above...

I've only played the first few chapters (up to rescuing the little girl), buy enjoying it so far. I actually like the black and white filter applied to the whole game, but apparently there's a mod that removes this and brings back full colours for those who don't like it.

That is your problem right there... it is decent enough until (SPOILERS: you are on your way back with her medicine). Good luck finding the correct route back to her though.... Especially if you are "rescuing" the survivors. When you lose 30 minutes- an hour's worth of progress on multiple occassions due to the game's poor design choices, we'll see how much you like it then.

Haven't played it... but I enjoyed watching the playthrough videos. It's actually on my Steam wish list... the last/lowest spot, lowest priority.
