The weather outside (at least here) is frightful, and the Christmas trees and holiday feasts are quite delightful. It looks like the Holiday season has finally begun. With all those hints, as one monk would say, we figured out it's a good time to launch the holiday season at GOG.com. We've prepared [url=http://www.gog.com/en/page/dec2010]14 special surprises for each day of December until the 14th, with a big surprise at the very end of the event! We're starting with a GOG carol contest where you can win some cool prizes. Read on for the GOG holiday carol contest info, and check back tomorrow for the next surprise!

Never a dull time around december, eh? That's great. With the abundance of snow we've been having lately I think I'm gonna stick around and see what you wizards of the Gog can come up with.
Sounds like some fun bring on the snow:)

2nded. I enjoyed the heck out of QfG, aka Hero's Quest I. They had to change the name due to a board game called Hero Quest (which was kind of fun in its own right) by Milton Bradley and Games Workshop. Oh, imagine, that, Games Workshop suing somebody...

I preferred the non-VGA version, and especially the 'dreaded fragmentation bug'. Not that I was a thief or anything :). I was a fighter with magic and some thievish abilities. At the end of QfGII, a genie gave me some skill in climb and I was a very well rounded character. Just make sure you don't use all your wishes! (D'oh!)

(is it me, or is wikipedia really slow lately?)

I honestly thought that Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde for the NES was a really cool game. Ok, it was frustrating and didn't really have any fun gameplay at all, so it wasn't a FUN game. But they did try to do something really different with it and I liked the concept - no matter how much the AVGN says that it's just silly. If the execution would just been a little bit better I think the game would have become one of the great NES classics.
