I started with the fact that I do not trust you.
My first point on this was from your post 219 IN THIS GAME and the subsequent risk of attacking the wrong person.

AFTER this, I referenced my previous experience of you in the last game.

YOU then started quoting back through all the games you've played.

I have no issue with you defending yourself, but then I never suggested ignoring past history.
I often find it a useful indication of future performance.
It was YOU who wanted this history hidden away.

I find this argument somewhat amusing. You speak of a contradiction on nmillar's behalf when there really isn't one. He was defending himself against an attempted low blow - he said he didn't think metagaming was the right way to go, and you spring attack on him with metagaming, to which the only defense possible is metagaming. You forced him into the situation - THAT's a low blow.

What's further amusing is your OWN contradiction. You say nmillar should be lynched for his play style as it is potentially detrimental to town (Agreeable, I'll admit), and you seem adamant to argue that you are not a detriment to town, yet you employ the exact same tactic as nmillar does right now. If you disagree, Rodzaju, prove me wrong, but do yourself the favour of analysing what you say, yourself. I know I analyse my own crap a lot, I tend to learn a lot.

Post 219, which falls right in the middle of all those joke posts ... if that is the basis of your argument, then why haven't you mentioned anything about Vitek, Damnation, Taleroth, Robbeasy, Orryyrro, Typhoon45, TwilightBard, SirPrimalform and even yourself? All these people joined in with the jokey, 'I should be lynched because ...' posts.

Can I make one thing clear here - I'm with Twilight here in that I think Rod is chasing the Meta comparison on nmillar a little too much, but nmillar still for me has reacted far too oddly to the original post.

@ Rod - We have ALL attacked Townies in the past - you would be a god-like Mafia player if you never got it wrong. Half the point of attacking someone is to gauge the reactions from other players - Twilight makes a valid point that you are conming on and chasing a little too hard....can you state exactly why you think nmillar is mafia in this game - WITHOUT referring to past games, just going on what he has posted in this game?

My issue with your post 219 is that, in amongst all the joke responses, this one reads as an accurate declaration of intention and NOT a joke.
Out of respect for rob, I won't expand on that because to explain why it reads as such to me would involve referencing past games.
Suffice to say that if anyone reads your history, they would find this "joke" all to easy to believe.

the main difference as I see it between me & Nmillar is that I do not (I believe) misrepresent what is said.
I attack what I see as suspicous, supported by the context is which it is said.

My point here is that Nmillar suggests that he "gets it right" often enough that we should forgive the mislynches & allow him his witch-hunts anyway.
I am considering the possibility that he may be Mafia and the way these full on attacks can be used to discredit & lynch important town members.

But as you've brought it up, I never forgot you defended me.
I never claimed that every post you make is part of a witch hunt.
What I did say is that once you get into "Witch-hunt" mode, every other consideration, be that other suspicous characters, evidence of innocence, whatever, goes right past you without you even seeing it.

I'm curious as to why you would act this way in my games and not others.

Because I've developed my playing style as games have progressed. GOG Mafia #1 was my first foray into the game and GOG Mafia #2 I was killed in the first night. GOG Mafia #3 was another learning experience, whereas GOG Mafia #4 and #5 were the first games I began to spot things in people's posts, hence my more aggressive nature in them than the first three games. In fact, I'm still developing my play style. I've become a pretty good end-game player, but I need to work on my early-game.

No, I correctly attacked Orry's silence.
I would have done the same whether I had been town or mafia.
It made him look suspicous without any need for misrepresentation.

You chose to ignore the evidence proving my claim as White Knight. That in itself is mis-representation. You lied about TwilightBard's flavour; that's also mis-representation. Accusations that led to the lynching of a mafia member ...

To be fair, Rodzaju hasn't actually accused me of being scum. His argument is that my play style can be very dangerous to town if I target the wrong people.
