The principal stalks back into the room, piercing each of you in turn with a glare. He demands, “So, have you jokers figured out who is guilty yet?”

CSPVG shrugs, “Well, HijacK wants to use this time to run for President. That seems a little off."

Dedoporno smirks, “And his platform seems to be making up some wild stuff about bullies...”

Mrkgnao says, “Yeah, he is just plain weird!”

Trentonlf nods, “And when we ask him about it, he never gives us a straight answer. Weird and sneaky...”

Budejovice grumbles, “I am tired of waiting on him, too. I don't think he is ever going to answer us.”

Adaliabooks notes, “Yeah, and what was all that nonsense about knowing hippies? Him? Have you looked at him?!”

Sage103082 adds the final vote, “He is just too dang emo and shifty! I know he is hiding something. He needs to go.”

The principal quirks his head, “Really? Him? Huh, I never would have called that in a million years...” He shrugs then points to the floor in front of him, “Front and center, son!”

A young man dressed all in black, with black eyeliner, black nail polish, and black lipstick trudges up to the principal. “This is wrong, they don't know what they are talking about! I know exactly who did this, but they just...”

“Quiet! I don't want to hear it. You are expelled effective immediately!” The principal takes HijacK by the elbow and starts to escort him out of the room.

The principal looks over his shoulder as he walks out and says cheerfully, “I think we are done here for today, but we will continue tomorrow. I want you to consider very carefully who else you think might be guilty tonight.”

As you are all getting up to leave, you hear a soft sobbing from the back corner of the room. There sits Jmich, with shaggy hair, dressed in tie-dye and ripped jeans, and smelling quite distinctively of “herb”. His face is red and puffy, and tears are running down his cheeks. He chokes out, “Sure, sure, a goth and a hippie doesn't make any sense, and that is why we had to keep it secret. I know you won't understand, but I just can't live without HijacK. Nobody would have understood! It would have ruined us both! Don't expect me back tomorrow, I am following him to wherever he ends up.” With a final sniffle, Jmich shuffles, bleary-eyed, out the door.

HijacK – Goth (Town Lover) has been expelled.
JMich – Hippie (Town Lover) has left the school.

A quick note:
It has been noted that Lovers were not in the linked list I provided. They can be found, however, if you follow the links from that page. Click "Masons", then on the bottom of that page click "Linked roles". Lovers should be one of the options on that category page. I actually did notice this right after I posted the link, which is why I tried to alleviate potential confusion in post 11 by stating that all the roles could be found on mafiascum.net. I am sorry for any confusion this may have caused.

A word of caution:
This oversight may or may not apply to other roles in this game. Be aware that there may or may not be less obvious roles in the game, but they are all on mafiascum.net in some way, shape, or form. The only roles I will unequivocally state are not in the game are those which raise dead (such as reviver or necromancer). As the principal stated in the OP, once someone is gone, they are gone.

As you arrive at school the next day, you notice an ambulance out front, as well as a bucket truck attempting to lower what looks like someone tied into a knot and stuffed into your mascot's uniform from the top of the flagpole in front of the school.

You make your way through the crowds in front of the school, only to be confronted with nearly equal chaos in the school hallways. It seems like someone set off some sort of explosive device in one of the lockers, sending an entire hallway into disarray. What a mess.

Arriving at your designated classroom of the day prior, you wait, not so patiently, with the rest of your fellow 'suspects' . It slowly dawns on you that one of your motley bunch is not present, however. You have almost figured out who is missing, when the principal storms in and shouts, “What the heck is going on around here?! First Vitek, now Robbeasy? It almost seems as if Vitek got off easy compared to Robbeasy.”

The principals glares at everyone in general and nobody in particular for a few beats. When he goes on, he can't help but let a little bit of dazed awe enter his voice, “ The best we can piece it together, he arrived early this morning, and while in the process of opening his locker, he set off some sort of heavy duty flash-powder device. This blew out his eardrums instantly and sent him careening into the lockers on the opposite side of the hallway, fracturing several ribs, dislocating his shoulder, and breaking his collarbone. We don't know if his concussion and massive internal bleeding was caused by this, or by what happened next...”

The principal fails to suppress a shudder, “It seems that shortly after this event, Robbeasy was then beaten savagely, twisted into what can best be described as a human pretzel, stuffed into a mascot's costume, then hoisted to the top of our flagpole.”

The principal sighs raggedly, “I just don't even know what to say about you evil little monsters at this point. Figure out who did this. NOW!!” He turns and walks slowly out of the room, allowing everyone present to talk freely about recent events.

Robbeasy – Hall Monitor (Town Cop) has been sent to the hospital.

JMich, I am sooooo sorry.
This is the second game in a row that I am involved in getting you killed on day 1.
I feel so bad, I don't think I'll ever dare play another Mafia game with you, if at all.

Don't beat yourself up. If HijacK had been more forthcoming about the actual roles we would have not expelled him and both him and JMich would still be here. We only expelled him because of his not wanting to be a team player and we thought he might be a lyncher with a secondary agenda compared to the rest of us in the town. Even without you pointing out the lyncher role (and someone else probably would have) I think HijacK was going to be expelled anyway by the way he was playing.

Question: Was it sheer luck that allowed the scum to get the cop on night 1?

P.S. flubbucket has made a suggestion during the night on the mason thread about how to progress, but I will let him present it.

After looking at all the roles Krypsyn pointed to in the link again, I don't see how the scum knew Robbeasy was a cop. Unless there's some role I missed that gives that type of knowledge?
