JoeSapphire: He also lied.
If you don't love me - lie to me
'Cause baby you're the one thing I believe
Let it all fall down around us, if that's what's meant to be
Right now if you can't love me baby - lie to me
Baby, I can take it

??????????

JoeSapphire: Now he says that he is the vigilante.
If you’re not the one then why does my soul feel glad today?
If you’re not the one then why does my hand fit yours this way?
If you are not mine then why does your heart return my call
If you are not mine would I have the strength to stand at all

-->

Any one who fails
To see all the signs
Of His existence
That He has spread around

Will be completely blind
Walking in the desert sands
Having no peace of mind
Who is the Loved One?

????????

amok: Who?
It must be Rob, but he tried to get me lynched by saying that it was a vigilante kill on night one, when he knew that it wasn't.

Vitek's disappeared. We don't know that he's dead. He activated some sort of power. Rob's claiming straight vigilante - I don't believe it.

Also a vigilante really should have been keeping quiet. Not claiming at the first opportunity.

Here's the relevant quote:

Robbeasy: What DOES interest me is that night Joe was blocked - one kill. Next night, with Town roleblocker dead - two kills. With Jmich dead, it means more people free to do their thing.
avatar
Robbeasy: Its game over with just one night kill - as you yourself rightly pointed out.

If I were Mafia, would I really not be aware how many more I needed to win? Funny how you know the figures...
______________

Whats to say the Mafia can't make two kills in the night? - I just used it to get my point across about Joe, which i see you are still doing your damndest to rubbish.
I'm not suggesting you don't know how many more are needed for you to win, I'm saying that first you attributed both kills to the mafia and now you're claiming one of them.
The only source of doubt in my mind is that you're an experienced player and it's surprising that you'd slip up so badly.
______

There's nothing to suggest the mafia can't make two kills, but there's nothing to suggest they can either. Not only is there nothing to suggest they can, but it's not even something one comes across very often so it's a bit strange your mind jumped to it (especially since you apparently knew one of the kills was you).

You've not been paying much attention; you, Joe and gkaiser are my current guess at the scum team. Alternatively it might be CSPVG instead of Joe. I'm not sure where your accusation of rubbishing is coming from.

I agree that either Joe or CSPVG is probably scum, I just have very good reasons to believe you're also scum.

If Joe is scum then obviously he's not going to get quicklynched by the rest of his team.
If CSPVG is scum, then one town vote was needed for him to be quicklynched.

I see and I don['t like this.

Unvote:CSPVG

Vote: Robbeasy

Have Mercy!!
Oh god, the suspense is now killing me. I hope Telika's free this evening.
Everybody has gathered in the hold now. The migrants, and the ship's key crew members. They accuse each others of last night's victim. Fingers point in different directions.

In a corner, a kid with dead eyes counts them. He is certain that three of the most vocal accusers are guilty. He is surprised that the general opinion hasn't tilted so far towards the sacrifice of one more innocent. He looks at the votes, and points out that, if an unjust kill hasn't been decided now, it means that the culprits are still waiting for an opportune movement of the crowd. Mentionning himself in the first person, he says :

"If [JoeSapphire] hasn't been designated guilty, then either he is, or both [CSPVG] and [Robbeasy], his accusers, are. Else, the other killers would have joined the accusers and doomed him already."

He looks at the others. For the same reason, either [Robbeasy] or [SirPrimalform] is a liar. Either [Flubbucket] or [amok] is. If for any of these cases, both had been innocent, the murderers would have come to break the balance already, and a slaughter would have been decided.

Of course, this means that [SirPrimalform] and [JoeSapphire] are one one side, while [Robbeasy] and [CSPVG] are on another.

And it's the moment that [Flubbucket] chooses to state his suspicions against [CSPVG], showing that he is on the same side as [SirPrimalform] and [JoeSapphire]. On the other side stand, logically, [Robbeasy], [CSPVG] and [amok].

These implications are completely lost on the latter two. And soon, the accusations start to fly amongst themselves. The silent afghan who had barely followed the discussion so far states that he finds the african kid suspicious.

The result is immediate. The other three nod vigorously. They help pin the kid against the vibrating wall, letting the thoughtless afghan pick up a greasy pipe, and bash the accused's skull in.

They all step back. The thinned out group of migrants. And the human traffickers.

"Well, he's dead. All will return to normal now."

The migrants turn to the captain, and to the smuggler that had put them in contact :

"That was him all along, right ? Now, you'll bring us to Europe, as promised ? As we paid you for ?"

The three of them leave without answering, as the crew drags out the child's body. They don't need to answer. They have the money. The passengers are now too few to resist. The following night, another one falls overboard. Then another. When the ship arrives to the harbour, the border officers don't find anything suspicious or illegal on the ship. No fuss, no bribe, no extra cost, no risk. This is definitely the best way to make a profit out of Europe's migration restrictions. Certainly beats the stress of actually smuggling people in.

As the ship departs from Europe, the captain and his henchman already plan their next run. The middleman has taken a flight to their destination, where he will prepare the next lot of passengers. They should be ready by the time the ship arrives in the harbour. Same fee. Same destination.

And there goes the ball game.

Town - hang your heads in shame, you've been sleepwalking to a defeat.

SPF, GKaiser, JoeSapphire, Flubbucket - the three of you that are scum, well played.

One day someone might listen to me.

edit:

Blimey Telika that was quick!

Got two out of three - i thought it might have been GKaiser instead of Flubb, but there you go.

Sorry Rob! You didn't have an easy job as the only really active player amongst the remaining town. It's a slightly hollow victory but I still had great fun.

For the record, a lot of the stuff I was saying was scummy I actually did find scummy. Were it not for the fact that I knew you weren't mafia, I probably would have genuinely suspected you! :P
AMOKS SINGING WAS OFF HIS OWN BACK - NO Restriction????

Really?!

You have kids right Robb ?? You should abandon that dream of being listened to now!!

Yeah i didnt cover myself in glory to be honest, but I just knew Joe and you were cooking something up!

Was a bit impetuous with the Vig lynch as well - didnt think it through properly. I just assumed Jmich and Vitek were at such polar opposites, that if one flipped town the other would have flipped mafia.

I was strongly considering Joe at one point - bah!
can I train amok up as my henchman please captain? He should win man-of-the-match for sure.

Yeah, you were basically the last town player, that day.

Blimey Telika that was quick!.
Let's say I've had some time to prepare the ending scene. :-/

Really?!
We haven't had the PMs yet. It could be that the Urdu speakers had restrictions that if one was dead the other had to sing... or something. Each one is what enabled the other to participate normally?

I was actually really sad Vitek died because he was so convinced that a jailer must be town. (Also because Vitek is cool, but mainly because he though I was town.)

It was looking a bit like a forgone conclusion for a while there I suppose...

Oh yeah, I really like your commentary on the observation deck.
