We seem to be getting out of RVS and i've lost the willpower to keep up my charade. Also, I ran out of material.

I disagree on Lifthrasil's assertion -- why would the mod deny himself the fun? "YOU DON'T LIKE ME SO I'M GONNA TAKE MY BALL AND GO HOME" isn't something I see Zchinque doing. Keep in mind we did at one point see him post as a player, as well.

I also have flavor reasons to believe that anyone with power is to be distrusted -- Zchinque certainly has power.

I'm off of the Zchinque wagon because of Amok though. For most of RVS I was acting as though (as Damnation noted!) I had a post restriction. This was just for kicks, really. But Amok attempted to take advantage of that -- that's scummy as hell, especially the whole "who cares if he dies" refrain behind it. Was it funny? OH SURE. It was hilarious, really. But it came off as scummy to me, and I suspect Krypsyn noticed it too but couldn't place the why on it (his reason for voting amok is a bit weak, but he seems adamant on it).

Other than Amok I have no scum-reads.

I do agree with Lifthrasil -- Lynch All Liars is a tried and true method for hellish games, and the scum must always be liars by default (or else they wouldn't be very useful).

I want to bring up a few other things.

1: JMich has a point on the conflicting factions -- BUT! I have a Town role. That means that the other factions are still most likely anti-town, which means for the purposes of LAL treating non-town and scum as one-and-the-same is very viable. For those non-town factions, things might be more complex, but that just means town has to be on the lookout for the hidden power struggles being echoed in the thread as the days wear on.
Votecount!

GhostQlyph - 2 - Lifthrasil, CSPVG
Zchinque - 2 - SirPrimalform, JoeSapphire
amok - 2 - GhostQlyph, Krypsyn
SirPrimalform - 2 - amok, TwilightBard
flubbucket - 1 - Damnation
JoeSapphire - 1 - flubbucket

Not voting - 2 - QuadrAlien, JMich

With 12 alive, it takes 7 to lynch.

And an early happy birthday for QuadrAlien.
And now I want to say, apologies for screwing my last post up. "want to bring up a few other things" <only brings up one other thing> Currently passing out from hunger. I'll add the rest of my list when I feel better.
@SirPrimalform, what are you thoughts regarding CSPVG and QuadrAlien so far this game??
I agree somewhat with the JMich post. LAL is a good jumping off spot and each case should be evaluated independently. It is usually obvious if the liar is doing the lying for nefarious reasons. There is also the liar's lynch wagon to then evaluate afterwards.

Not much so far, but I'm away from home at the moment, so no notes. Really, the only people I have much of a read on so far are the ones who are very vocally against the idea of mod lynch.

It's true! There was a false vote-count which implies that there is a moderator and another entity of sorts.

I don't like the idea of Not-Lynching-Zchinque-But-Targeting-Zchinque-For-Night-Actions. It looks like a certain waste of a night action, whereas it's only a possible waste of a lynch with a Fairly-Likely good outcome as I see it.

I might stop banging on about it soon, but I really don't see why we shouldn't do this. The likelihood of positive-or-neutral outcomes far outweighs the possibility&quality of negative.

I'm hearing nothing but crickets. Are there crickets there where you are currently?? You have reads on "the ones" who don't agree with your plan. So agree with SirPrimalform or be scum is that about the size of it??

This sounds like the patter of a three card monte hustler. I'm not falling for that old game.

I haven't been able to find the Queen since the death of his royal majesty.

Yes, yes there are! It's not those who don't agree, but those who are very vocally against it. I'm wondering if our moderator is a mafia godfather or something. Perhaps a not quite as broken as we thought GladOS? It seems weird to me that anyone would be so adamantly against a mod lynch (you said something along the lines of "I will never vote for the mod"). If you have actual reasons that you know a mod lynch would be bad for town then say so, otherwise I can't see how you can be so sure. To me, the possibility of a mod lynch makes it likely that we're supposed to do it.

Is the only reason you're against it because other people want to do it?

Well, depending on who wastes the night action this might actually be good. Let the mafia try to kill the mod. If they waste their action, all the better for the town!
I invite you both to reread my post #130.
Once again, I must beg forgiveness for posting so infrequently. My computer is still broken, and I have to borrow a family member's any time I'd like to post.

I'm still not sure that I'd like to lynch Zchinque, but I'm not entirely sure why. The flavour post suggests that the asylum we currently occupy has been taken over by someone. Said person has seemingly killed whomever used to control the intercom and defense systems and released all the patients. Although the asylum does sound humorously out of joint, the character that released all of the patients has done something 'bad'. Perhaps this should be enough reason for us to lynch him. I'm not entirely sure that the character in the flavour is the same person as Zchinque, as he has stated numerous times that he is not to be trusted. It could be interesting to see what happens, though.

However, for the time being, my vote will be staying on GhostQlyph. I'm still not happy with your Oh, I was just being wacky for RVS thing. This is mainly because I believe we were out of RVS by the time we started discussing lynching the mod, which as I remember it was pretty early on, yet you still persisted with your charade. Add to that your very blatant claim, and I think you look quite suspect.

Also: Happy birthday, Quadralien.
It's storming something fierce outside, so in the interest of sanity, turned the.computer off, will be back in things when it lets up. And screw.kindle typing cause this is barely turning out in a way I like, too many stupid typos.
Thanks for the post CSPVG you were irritating my lurker gland something fierce.

Good luck with the computer issues. I'm quite sure you're scum now.
