A point-and-click fix for your brain.

Gray Matter, a glorious comeback to the classic adventure game genre for Gabriel Knight's co-creator Jane Jensen, is available 75% off on GOG.com. That's only $2.49 for the next 24 hours!

Gray Matter tells the story of Samantha Everett, a young female illusionist searching for her lucky break on a road-trip through Europe. When mechanical failure brings her to a halt in the middle of nowhere, she crosses paths with the mysterious and troubled neuro-biologist Professor David Styles. He quickly draws Sam into his world of the inexplicable and the terrifying, where scientific research dabbles in the supernatural.

The game is a classical point and click adventure by all accounts. You’ll explore the authentic, beautifully hand drawn streets and interiors of modern London and Oxford, accompanied by an elegant, haunting soundtrack. See through the eyes of Sam and Professor Styles as your progress through challenging puzzles that will never have you reaching for a walkthrough. Sam’s unique skill set as a magician introduces an original twist on the gameplay as well, allowing you to carefully plan, then execute your illusions and get precisely what you need... out of anyone.

Beat the masterfully crafted puzzles and enjoy the deftly constructed narrative courtesy of Jane Jensen in Gray Matter, for only $2.49 on GOG.com. The 75% off discount lasts until Thursday, October 23, at 9:59AM GMT.

rtcvb32: Now it's time to hesitate for me, since it's a point&click and i've discovered i don't enjoy those games...

Although picking up a copy for later trading isn't a bad idea...
What don't enjoy point and click. Well each to not their "own" I guess :)
Great promo. Too bad I already bought it during the launch :p.
It wasn't in my wishlist but I already "almost bought it" several times in the past. I'll probably buy it later today...
Bought it :)

It's a smart move - as Dreamfall is on delay adventure-junkies can bypass the waiting time and get their fix with this gem ;-)

Edit: Also bought it. Already had it on gamersgate, but I wasn't sure if it's the multilingual verson. Unfortunately another unplayed adventure game in my library, but hopefully around christmas time I will have a little bit time to play some story-driven games without longer breaks.

Nah, on monday we had pinball games on sale, including the one and only Duke Nukem. I wouldn't call that nothing ;-) Also tomorrow is another day.
Nice! Just bought it for free (sort of). Had some store credit from my Gabriel Knight preorder, so this is VERY NICE :D

hucklebarry: I'm just now playing through this. Its a ton of fun, but know that you can break your game fairly easily... luckily there are helpful game saves to fix you up.
Frustrating that it hasn't been fixed, but its a very, very good adventure game so far (about 80% of the way through now).
Highly recommended.
Wow, how long does it last in total?
How are puzzles, story and ending?
It's really a shame that the dev didn't fix it..
