Markenname: Oh, and for three months I'm about to finish Mirror's Edge, but I don't get beyond this f**** construction site in level 8. I hate this game so much, I would love to cut it into pieces and throw it out of the window... But it's a digital download..

Hm. I didn't really find it that hard. I could finish it in a weekend, or just a day if I felt like it.
Finished one more: Flatout. Nice, fun game.
You are empty-Starts out creepy and interesting but once you get to the theater, It starts to go downhill. Weapons are okay but the shotgun is next to useless while the electric gun is the suicide machine. It's blast starts at entire screen and it launches like it's directly in front of you face. Damage rates for most weapons are not great on hard. Only thing interesting is the Neo-50's Russia. I would not recommend it unless you really want to get it for $6.

Whats the problem exactly? A fight, a certain jump or just being lost?
I finished the Gears oF War 2 deleted scene from the Dark Corners addon and the Jedi Temple from The Force Unleashed addon, not sure if they count since they're not games in and of themselves

It's a certain jump, rather two jumps in a row: The first one's no problem, but the second one seems impossible to me.. See the walkthrough video here at 2:44 min:

I know it looks like an ordinary 'It's-all-about-the-right-timing-passage'... And I'm sure it is... But I died a million deaths there.

Ahh THAT one. Yes I pretty much hit the same wall you did and it nearly broke my enthusiasm for the game. The trick I found most useful was to literally hit the wall, doing a wall run (starting right near the end of the ramp) and then jump gives just that liitle bit more range that let me complete that section

I've finished Fallout 3, which was a huge disappointment. I didn't like audiovisual presentation, game mechanics (which were basically nicked from a good old Fallout and then made much worse), game design and I especially loathed an appallingly horid piece of tat, which they dared to call a story. To sum it up, It absolutely didn't win my heart like the originals did.
Bioshock - a brilliant mixture of objectivistic philosophy and its consequential defying encompassed with fantastic presentation.
COD4 - a pretty wild ride, but without a hint of originality.
