My record in long jump right now is 149.70 meters, not bad but i think i could do better. Btw when the contest is done we could all post our highest scores for comparison purposes.

I'm a complete disaster in long jump.
In high jump i'm over 370m, i think i can reach 385-390 with many, maaaaaany luck. My highest single jump was 128m.

Damn that's pretty high, my record in high jump is 230 meters, i can't see myself reaching 300 because it's too damn hard. Btw does the car you use affects the type of record you can get? i am using one of the basic cars called "bullet" i think.

yeah it affects the outcome a lot, the heavier the car the less likely it is that you're gonna make a high jump.

Oh wow i didn't know that, thanks! so i better go with a lighter car in high jump and use a faster car in long jump. I hope i unlock better cars when i win the bronze cup, specially for long jump since going faster probably helps..

In High jump, i use a basic car too. It's important "when" you do the jump. I think it`s important to do just before left the last "ramp".

I never thought of the weight of the car affecting the jump, dang, thanks for the tip. I guess I forget that even though its arcadish, it still has a good physics engine.

But my actual question is: Is it possible to score 61m+ in a single long jump?
Lots of things depend on that answer, for instance if I'm going to ditch my exam in Ethics tomorrow ;)

The answers is yes, i have reached more than 61 meters in a single jump of long jump. The trick is timing and the angle you throw you unlucky driver, also i think having a fast car helps a lot.

You should time the release of the nitro to when it is at the middle to get the most distance. It is hard to judge the release point on the long jump course but you should do when when you are close to hitting the trench. I have got over 61 in the long jump multiple times. when you release the nitro and where you release it vary for each car as some cars seem to build up their nitro quicker.
